All of AU's offensive issues boil down to one simple fact. Gus can't admit to himself that he failed to make Jeremy Johnson into the superstar the media (and even Gus) hyped him to be. That's why you still have musical QB's and no rhyme or rhythm to the offense. Gus is still throwing in JJ hoping that one day the QB he is in practice will show up on the field. Not going to happen. He needs to hand this offense to JFIII and go to the power run attack that won 12 games in 2013.

It was pretty obvious the offense clicked just a little bit better when Franklin ran it. Teach him the offense and let him run it.

We still don't know if he can pass. Clemson respected the edges on read so we got a little more down the middle. I don't think we saw enough from Franklin to know anything other than they don't trust him putting the ball in the air.

Cam Newton and a few lucky bounces made a bunch of people think he was a legit coach, but they have mostly all woke up at this point.

Yup, Aubies were warned the guy was a fraud.

I love that TT'sTowel is a Gus hater now, he survived on Gus jizz for a couple years.

I was watching Franklin move the ball down the field and then he puts in JJ and he throws an INT. Gus has some explaining to do.

That was the series that made me step out for a little bit and remember that football is just a game, and not go so insane.

Watch the game, the score is misleading. Auburn almost won in spite of him. If he called anything close to a good game, we win the football game.

I did and completely agree with your assessment.

A great coach molds his schemes around what his players are able to do. His players aren't able to do what Gus wants to do and it's causing chaos.

You guys looked pretty damn good to me considering you were playing Clemson. Yeah you probably should have won but you guys are panicking too much.

I had you winning about 10 games anyway.

I'm not gonna say Auburn SHOULD'VE won, because that would imply they deserved to, and the numbers don't really back it up. The way Gus called that game, they were fortunate they didn't get blown out of the stadium by halftime. But yes, in spite of Gus, they absolutely COULD'VE won it, thanks to a D that played lights out.

Have the QB manage the game, run the ball, and don't put the QB in a position to turn the ball over.

Sounds like Saban football to me. Winning football too.

Malzahn cared too much about himself looking smart, rather than winning.

You can only pray to football Loki so long when you depend on it to win. It's a fickle bitch.

that's fine for now - wait until the breaking point comes from your defense being left on the field too long

Gus will be to blame, but will openly blame Steele
