I would add that these are kids and the environment currently robs them of being kids. This NIL will be a much bigger business than will be advertised. I couldn’t disagree more.
The only thing to lose was a gator bowl with an opted/covid ridden team.
Gain would be 40 under class men experience. Bowl game road trip experience(That’s a thing). Fans and family get to see one more game. 2.5 million in revenue. ...

Your coach/admin just backed out of a game that didn’t count against you in the grand scheme of things but would have been valuable experience for a lot of young and developing players. IMO this looks like Jimbo didn’t want to lose and sacrificed a post season game for a lot of kids and fans.

I can see how Will Wade has ruffled some feathers but I’m not ever going to fault a coach in college basketball for cheating until the NCAA changes a lot of rules. They get paid a great deal of money to win and win quickly in a landscape that is riddled with corruption.
