Good. It shouldn't be against any rules to get paid for your own autograph anyway.

I'm just glad he'll be out against us.

That explains why Marcel Dareus only received 2 games

Dareus got 2 because he told everything, supposedly including everything on everyone else

Umm...no the punishment is increased, if so

Seems like there have been college football players that have played minor league baseball at the same time.

Brandon Weeden played in the majors.

The rules state nothing about being a rat. Per the NCAA...1,700 in benefits is a 4 game suspension.

Downward departure for rolling on others is American as apple pie. Don't act surprised.

You really think UGA would request reinstatement knowing it would be a 4 game suspension anyway?

As far as UGA appealing, that's always a given even tho they turned in the facts themselves. Emmert said himself that UGA did a great job in their fact finding & due diligence in the matter, so I think UGA is hoping for a reduction in the penalty based on their cooperation...

I don't think an appeal stands a chance in hell of being approved tho...

Easier said in theory than enforced. Just allows boosters to pay for a kid's autograph on a national letter of intent.

the good news for Gurley is this saved him from monster richt destroying his legs

Gurley is a beast yes, but Chubb has shown he can carry the load and can and has taken more reps then Gurley ever has in a game (twice). Chubb said it was no big deal, he used to get 30 touches at game PLUS was the starting LB on the other side of the ball in HS. Course Richt could destroy Chubb's legs ... so I guess there's that ..

The facts speak for themselves. He was proven to have received 1,700 in benefits and AJ Green received 1,000. AJ Green received a 4 game suspension and Dareus received a 2 game suspension for mitigating circumstances or as you so cleverly put it....being a rat.

because they're an easy entity to get mad at, based on their actions over the years.

Anyone with a brain cell knows this is 100% todd's fault, but human nature wants to avoid blaming your own. You want to see people pissed at gurley? Go read our board right now.

If UGA was in the top 4, and likely to be in playoffs he would be back this week, NCAA understands Cash.

Rent -a-Cam stayed in the games, because he was the face of the NCAA in 2010, NCCA understood cash then too.
