Best right tackle playing left tackle on a team that did almost zero traditional pass protection that ive ever seen.

Hate on, as always. Greg Robinson was better than Andre Smith, Cyrus Kouandjio, and James Carpenter as a tackle.

Greg was a master at getting away with fistfuls of jersey. Must have watched lots of Barrett Jones tape

how did he look in 2012 when they were trying to run the pro style? That's an honest question, I didn't watch much of the abortion that was auburn 2012

FIFY. Being a great tackle requires being great at more than just run blocking.

I will take the word of NFL scouting analysts over a gump on a message board whose opinion and GED are worth the same, nothing

I will too. They agree that Robinson is very raw as far as pass blocking goes. That's why I said he was a better prospect than the Bama guys. He has the tools, but hasn't consistently shown it yet. One of the reasons the Rams are starting him at guard.

Meh, they said the same thing about the dude from Michigan a few years back. They just giving headlines to make this draft look special in certain areas. You want really know until he gets a couple years under his belt.

PS. He better hope to play in a lot of domes because the stiff dew will give him issues

Why would you ask that question when you just got done implying you already knew what NFL analysts were saying about him in your last post?

bammers critizing GRob is pretty laughable considering the Iron Bowl was probably his most dominating game. When ESPN or the NFL Network show his highlights, the very first play they usually show involves him driving Geoffrey Pagan's sorry arse about 15 yards down the field on Nick Marshall's touchdown run during the Iron Bowl

He's great. But as good as he is in the run game, he is equally as unproven in the passing game. Would you want a D-Lineman that was All-pro against the run, but didn't have a clue what he was doing when rushing the passer?

I agree. See above post on how NFL analysts agree with what I'm saying.

That's why he will start inside and then move to tackle. The Rams already have Jake Long at LT so Greg will have plenty of time to grow into what they want him to be.

With his talent, he should be able to become pretty damn good at run and pass protection in short time.
