I don't think the Aggies want to give LSU credit for anything
quote:rivalry isn't the point either, even though there will be a likely UTx vs SEC game in the future.
They are probably a bit jealous because they were positioning themselves to be LSU's new rivals, and Les seems to have chosen the Longhorns.
The point is... recruiting. CLM isn't one to take shots at other programs verbally like that, but in this case it's calculated to go along with the current Frank Wilson trumpeting of the # of draft picks.
We all know TX is fertile grounds. It's much more fertile when UTx isn't pulling in by gravity alone (aka the name and t-shirts). Be nice to prevent Strong from building the recruiting momentum he knows he needs to get things turned around. And OU and TAMU (along with TCU, Baylor, and TTU) are all having an impact too.

Very close. It was actually a crystal trophy. 21-0.

Did not realize he said it at a function and NOT on twitter. I take back my previous statements in this thread

Keep living in the past...trying anything to avoid thinking about your current losing streak and getting beatdown by Big Game Bob.

Seriously, do you SEC retards really think this is going to affect UT recruiting? What affects UT's recruiting is not Les, but the many bagmen who supply the incentive to leave the state.

How many 1st rd picks did Les develop in this years draft?
Strong had 3...
Strong had 3...

Well, that really isn't a reflection on Strong. Will be fairly simple for him to combat on the trail. When he says... "I produced as many 1st rounders as the top SEC schools did in this years draft.... At Louisville. Imagine what I can do with UT caliber talent."

UT caliber talent goes undrafted. But I think I get what you're saying.

Nothing is great about Les Miles. He is very average.
