Yeah the wreck tech pajama parade

Originated in like 1896 when our engineering students greased the rails and made Tech's team train slide five miles past Auburn and had to walk back
It's memories/traditions like this that make college football great IMO.

No I haven't been to the coliseum. My experience has only been the Rose bowl which was an amazing experience so I figured the coliseum would be a good one as well.

we got Whisky and USC and that is nice...and Michigan was awesome.....can't say I am excited about WVU...nor was I particularly excited about the Sparty series...neither are marquee enough....agree some home and homes like Penn State are good for eveyone.
Bama fans have had a nice mix since Saban's been here. I know I've personally spent a ton traveling to watch Bama play in season openers and postseason play in the last few years. It's been a great experience.

My opinion as well and the locations arent that great either.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Tigers will sweep the series.

No they really don't care. As long as there is still a 10,000 person wait list for season tickets, they don't care about the quality of games they bring the fans in Bryant Denny. We get 2 decent games a year at home. That's about it.

Think about this: If Alabama goes to the national title game in 2015 the team would play 4 games in neutral site NFL stadiums. Like I said, minor league NFL. With the new playoff the last thing we need is regular season neutral games.

Yep. I would rather spend all weekend tailgating and drinking at campus bars in Clemson, SC and see the players run down the hill, etc than drink beer in a parking lot in Arlington, TX and watch the game on a giant tv hanging from the ceiling with rock and rap music blaring. That's not college football.

Upvote.

I would love a GT series again. My dad is a GT grad, my sister has degrees from AU and GT, and I have my AU degree. Makes for a fun time for my family. Also want to ease some of the memories of losing at GT. My 60 year old dad rushed the field and helped tear down the goalposts.

If nothing else JJ needs to give us somewhere new to go. Manhattan KS? Clemson AGAIN?! FFS where's a good BIG 10 or PAC 12 matchup when you need one.

I liked when ya'll played USC, even you lost, it was nice to see two bigname programs go at it.

I'd love my spartans to play ya'll (although I'm not sure when it'd work)

I haven't been to Arlington for a game, but ATL is way cooler of place to have the NS games, if anything. I generally agree with your point here.

I was so very angry walking out of the stadium in 03. I don't mind losing, but our offense was so inept with so much talent.

I'd love to play MSU or UF. frick, bring the UF rivalry back through OOC games since Slive is too damn stupid to do it.

Neutral site opener counts just like the other games. Just lose one and you drop in the rankings like a regular season game.

The real opposition about these games, is that some teams are not considered "good draws" and are not invited. These teams that remain on the outside looking in, always are the first to criticize these games.

Because of these stellar games, teams that participte in these games get the national spotlight and nation wide viewing. All this, helping with recruiting and it's national footprint.

Home in home is a very good thing. But, the neutral site has it advantages, also.

I haven't complained about sitting in an air-conditioned stadium drinking beer while watching Bama open the season with a win.

I don't like it either. I'm tired of Clemson -- doesn't juice anybody much. Logically, it is good for strength of schedule, etc., but not high on my list of desired opponents.
Rather play an extra SEC game and play Florida!
