UGA wins easily. Not really sure why this is even viewed as a big game. SC just isn't that good.
yup. SC will look better than against the spread of the aggies (they obviously didn't have a clue how to defend the spread) but UGA steamrolls 'em.

Todd Gurley has never been tackled but he's tripped a few times.

Everything has been said by somebody somewhere:
Just a quick google search, but in general you are right, I don't think most believe Thompson is better than Shaw.

I'm sick of listening to all my tater friends say how much we are going to miss Connor. Yes he will be missed but Dylan will give us more opportunities to make more plays through the air rather than with his feet which will make our offense just as good or maybe even better

I'm excited to see what Dylan will do. He can do some things Connor couldn't.

i vote thompson! the offense is much more explosive with him under center... conner is a great competitor but he also played reckless and got banged up pretty often

Pruitt might try to exploit those two potential weaknesses with his blitz packages.
The Pruitt-boner has lasted longer than 4 hours, UGA fans. Its time to put ice on it and call the doctor. Guy can obviously coach and may be one of the best in the biz, but my god if I hear "halftime adjustments" one more time on sports talk radio in Georgia I'm gonna drive into a tree. Yes, he did it against Clemson. But what friggin coach, besides UGA former coaches clearly, doesn't?

Gurley is a difference maker and will be the best player on the field.
His dominance should give Mason a lot of M2M coverage looks.
I like UGA to win, but (aTM game excluded) Cocky is usually tough at home.
Prediction:
31-24 UGA

70% chance of rain.
I think this favors Georgia heavily. It will help take the crowd out of the game, and make it a more run-heavy game. I think Mike Davis is a Top Five back, and I think Wilds can hold his own, but USC just doesn't have the depth to keep them both fresh if this game turns into a washed out ground offensive.
Hopefully the good people at Willy Brice keep a neat field so we don't end up with 4 ACL tears today in the slop.
ETA- WELP I WAS WRONG

The Cock's defense improved a lot b/w week 1 and week 2. We are going to need to improve equally as much from week 2 to week 3, if not more, to make this a competitive game.
SC will need to win the turnover battle.
SC will need to force at least a few punts and find out what needs to be done on 3rd down defense.
SC will need to put their road grade crew back out there with the 2 TE set, with Zandi and Gibson. The longer we can grind the dogs early and take away clock, the better our chances.

This is what happened in '12... I betcha SOS tries us deep often & early trying to get a lead. Also looking for trick plays, fake punts etc. early. SOS will pull out all the stops. SCe's season is on the line today...

The fact is, if Gurley gets his touches, he’s going to get his yards, and Georgia’s almost certainly going to get its points as a result. The longer the score is within reach, the more comfortable the Bulldogs will be in their four-deep rotation at tailback, and the fresher Gurley will be when it comes time to drop the hammer down the stretch. The most foolproof way for Carolina to prevent that from happening is to threaten to put the score out of reach, even if that means taking some early risks.
