Mauk will throw for fewer yards than Thompson, I'd guess, based upon the early season.

There's a reason, however, Mauk was the offensive player of the week.

Having said that, Mizzou fans have over-hyped Mauk a bit in the offseason. I think he's a year away from really breaking out. And Thompson is a nice kid, but he's not going to be a dynamic leader that I think y'all need to overcome some of the weaknesses of your team that appear to be there.
