No. Not because he said it. Because people have an issue with him saying it. I already saw a headline before I saw this post that said Georgia player has unfortunate racist comment or some crap and when I saw it I couldn’t believe what a bunch of crap that headline was. It’s a non story.

I'm trying to figure out if he's gonna make out on first base, second base or third base. If he hits the homer, lord have mercy.

I wouldn't say it's a non story. The problem today is people don't seem to understand the differences in degree of wrongs. This shouldn't be something that follows him to his grave. But just as he likely wouldn't have appreciated one of his white teammates speaking "jive" because the person at the podium was black, he should understand that this is just as offensive to Asians.

The only people I know of who did that were Kid Rock and I think some other singer or band. Kid Rick is signaling to his fanbase that he doesn't support that shite. It's advertising. Is it completely rational? Probably not for a normal person. But he's a damn rock star that is trying to draw attention to himself. It worked. We're all rocking with Kid Rock.

If my buddies called me up and said we are gonna go buy a bunch of bud light and shoot it, I'd say they'd lost their damn mind.

It wasn't just Kid Rock virtue signaling...Tik Tok and YouTube has been inundated with average Joes vurtue signaling and blasting the bud light...each to his own, of course, but it is not a rational act.

Yeah, folks with a firm grasp of reality will go out and buy a product and video themselves destroying said product to let other folks know just how disgusting the actions of the company which makes said product are in their opinion...that, I think, is the picture in the Websters next to "sane" and "rational"...

Post a response video of the Jamaal Jarrett video to your Facebook page saying "come on you black... [insert something racist]" and see the impact it has on your life.

Everyone is more sensitive now than in say the 90s/early 2000s... personally I think it's a response to the occupy wall street movement to distract from the more serious issues facing the US.

That said... everyone hates a double standard and this is a huge double standard. It's OK to be "racist" towards asians and white people but not black people.

I was told black people cannot be racist. It’s impossible I was told.

Let that be a racist slur regarding blacks and the BLM group would be all up in arms.

In their defense, no one cares about your definition of a rational act considering g the things going on in the world. This is different than virtue signaling and there could not be a MORE rational response to to budlights actions than boycotting their business. It’s the only thing they understand.

Boycotting is a whole 'nother issue than buying the product and then videoing your destroying the product. That is kind of the opposite of boycotting because you have done the opposite of boycotting by buying the product.

It is, by definition from any source, virtue signaling...

Virtue Signaling - "The act or practice of conspicuously displaying one's awareness of and attentiveness to political issues, matters of social and racial justice, etc., especially instead of taking effective action"

Virtue Signaling

It does not have to come from the left, all it requires is conspicuously displaying ones awareness of political issues instead of taking effective action....shooting several cases of beer to make a point could not be topped by any example of what is virtue signaling...

I'm aware of at least two SEC state level legislators posting videos of themselves destroying Bud Light with either a gun or a baseball bat. It's out there.

And it's snowflake AF. Regardless of your politics.

Who cares what passes for thinking or thought in the mind of a 19 year old...yet, for some insane reason the 19 year old wants to share their thoughts, such that they are, and people actually make an effort to follow the thoughts of a 19 year old.

Do you have any idea how crazy you sound?

This kid voluntarily streamed this. No one went out of their way looking for his thoughts.

19 year-olds do not get a pass on anything and everything because they are 19. As much as you hate it, the world is a better place for people being called out on public displays like this.
