If UGA averages 31-34 Chaney wins national awards. That would raise their offense from around 85 to about 35, and probably lead to an undefeated UGA team in the playoffs. I find that highly unlikely. UGA is already a top 10 D and I don't expect a great drop off or anything.

Average it and say 32.5 that would put us 45 between UCLA and LSU this past season. That's only 1 TD more a game vs this past season with Chubb out half the year and a QB throwing 12 TDs and under 2000 yards all season. A healthy Chubb/Michel combo and Eason making decent improvement on Lambert's numbers that's really not that outlandish. Even at 32.5 and a top ten defense I think we lose 2-3 games.

Btw the top 4 True FR QBs in yards last year (I used yards because clicking on QBR or Comp % gives you guys that threw 1 pass etc.) averaged 20.5 TDs that's doable for Eason and a marked improvement over Lambert.

I love how the entire fanbase is acting like a recruit who has yet to play a single snap is some proven commodity

Well if he isn't at least middle of the road, of previous TR FR QBs, we got way bigger issues than Jim Chaney. If he is a total bUst the rest of what I said wouldn't fricking matter then now would it?

Regarding Chaney's 2012 season at Tennessee, you may want to take a really close look at second half stats, especially 4th quarter stats against each SEC opponent.

this is the same dude that couldn't find a way to win more than one fricking SEC game, i the SEC East mind you with Cordelle Patterson on his team

He's a good X and O guy

He shits the bed whenever possible and is horrible at in game adjustments

like literally every game with him is the same. he will come out with an excellent game plan. You're going to score on the first drive. The defense makes a few minor adjustments, he shits himself and starts chucking the ball 50 times a game

Your post nails it. I really don't understand how he manages to continue get these high dollar gigs. And it's not that he's bad all the time. It's in second half play when the opposition has made adjustments and the game is on the line. That's when he is bad.

Yep you are right. They should filter it that way from the start. His best job in 5 plus years of SEC play was 18th, with an average somewhere around 40-50 (not going to do the math on all that right now) . I feel like my statement still stands. I don't expect him in his first or second year to have a top 20 offense, he doesn't really have to if the defense plays well. Like the other dawg poster said, really isn't an exciting hire and that is what still confuses me. I feel like there were better choices but I guess if Smart really wanted Pittman it was a good move. Time will tell but I think some dawg fans are going to get really frustrated with his strange play calling in the second half and on short yardage.

Would've cost you fricks alot more than 850 to get Enos if he didn;t have a no-compete.

I can promise you that Chaney didn't get infinitely better in 1 year at Pitt.

UGA re-treading mediocre coaches isn't a winning recipe

Because your qb sucked. I know you Pigs are crushing hard on 8-win Allen, but he is not very good.

for one, i don't give a flip that pittman is gone. that doesn't change the fact that i think you're an a-1 dipshit of the highest order.

LSU paid Cam Cameron $1.5mil for that abortion of an offense last year and just over a million the year before.

He can't recruit QBs, he can't develop QBs, and he can't call plays.

Not firing Les this year will haunt LSU. Saban will win the title tonight, take a job in he NFL, Alabama will hire Jimbo Fisher. LSU will tank again this year (9-3 after a crappy bowl win). They'll finally fire miles and have to settle for some C-USA coach.

frick.

By specifying "true freshmen", he seems to be acknowledging that he is not proven at all.

I saw them vs Uga and sc. They lost both games despite scoring many points. In the end, Clowney won the sc game late and our NFL d won us the Uga game.
