Alabama played their C+ maybe B- game against Georgia. That should have been a route.

I thought Bama was gonna blow UGA out but just couldn't keep any consistency. That game a lot worse than that score.

Milroe standing there taking sacks when he had wide open checkdown routes to move the chains.

Sounds like they fell apart during their biggest game of the season. Doesn't sound like a playoff team to me.

Georgia definitely choked. And it's embarrassing. Georgia 2023 had no business losing to Alabama 2023. Kirby has an Alabama problem.

The whole would-be turnover narrative is weak. Bullard dropped one for Georgia, and Bullard also punched the ball out Milroe's arm and the ball magically rolled right into Milroe's belly.

All of this is speculative.

Bama didn’t play great. Neither did Georgia. Bama had a couple more lucky breaks than Georgia. Also, Bobo went full Bobo with some absolutely horrific 3rd down play calls. It wasn’t a very epic game to watch. Both teams would honestly assess their teams to be the worst team they’ve had in years.

Georgia would be in if not for some bad breaks. They’re clearly one of the best teams, just lost the one game that counted so all of this is just useless speculation.

This was one of the worst college football seasons in a while I will say

No actually they don’t. And neither does Bama.

UGA may very well be one of the best four teams, but UGA didn't win when needed. The previous two championships don't factor into this season, and UGA shouldn't get in over a conference champion, especially when an undefeated conference champ got left out.

UT-Martin, Ball State, UAB, and Ga. Tech was their OOC schedule. If you want to be forgiven for having a late loss, put a solid OOC victory on your resume. They deserve to be left out.

Georgia also was the only team in the country with a victory against two different 10-win regular season teams. The truth about Georgia's schedule this season is probably somewhere in the middle.

Agreed. And it’s amazing how so many of y’all somehow lost sight of this eternal truth after one fluke win.

There are really 4 considerations for playoffs. Best teams. Teams that earned it through season. Conference Champs. And head to head. UGA is in using the first two. Out using the last two. The committee weighted conference champion over earning it (Bama had a bad beat at home and a miracle win at Auburn). Once they put Bama in they had to put Texas in as a conference champion who beat Bama at home. That left UGA and FSU looking in. I don’t like it but I see how it came about. Glad we are done with only 4 getting in.

The Bobo tax is too much of a hill to climb for Georgia against the top teams.

Of course Georgia belongs in, but not this year. Due to having a screwed up playoff system that never had enough teams from the start...............I'll never understand how Div2 has a better playoff system than Div1.

I don’t like Georgia, but there is no way any objective person can say that they re not one of the best four. I understand why they were left out, and it’s probably the right decision, but they are clearly one of the best four.

It's a mental thing. Georgia's had a second half lead against Alabama 4 out of the last 6 times they've played each other. Also have had a double digit lead at some point in the game against Alabama 4 out of the last 6 times.

Alabama fans are living in the past. This ain't 10 years ago when it was Alabama and everybody else. So yeah, choking against Alabama this year was embarrassing.

UGA literally gave up a turn over on their own 10 yard line.
Alabama dropped 3 INTs

And stopped playing offense for the middle part of the game.

Would they sit out for a championship game?
Who knows?

They clearly don’t have the same passion and locker room culture that Alabama has.

What would that make Alabama's grade for every other game this season?
Alabama is a different team now.

They flat out sucked to begin the year. Give em D’s.

They’re better now and better than what they showed in the SECCG.

UGA, Texas and Bama looked like the three best teams to me on championship Saturday.

UGA doesn't belong because the undefeated b1g champ deserves to be humiliated again in the playoffs.

PAC deserved a spot too after the b1g destroyed their conference. They have a better chance against UT simply because they have a functional offense.

UGA is one of the top 3 teams though and if the best 4 teams should be in the playoffs then UGA belongs. We all know it is true.

Holy shite, a coherent thought.

Every syllable of this is truth.

Well done.
