I heard Geoff was spiking all of Mullen's coffee with half and half when he's lactose intolerant. What a trickster

I don't think Collins is an elite coordinator or anything. So I doubt it's an upgrade. It's a decent hire though.

We had one of the most talented defenses this season. McKinney is a first rounder, his DLine was stacked with 4-5 star guys. You need to look at what was on the table and not what you assume he had to work with. Guys were out of position a lot this year, which is something that falls on the DC.

I wonder if his leaving has anything to do with the comments Mullen made after the Egg Bowl which pretty much threw Collins under the bus. I'm sure the money is better, maybe, but Mullen came down pretty harsh.

He should have, our defense was straight garbage in that game.

Tony Hughes knowing the state of Mississippi is the reason we are talented on Defense.

Two as a HC. Don't give him too much credit, this defense has been pumping out NFL products since Mullen got here. Its in the diamond farming, not necessarily the coaches.

Like I said on the Florida board, major talent gap between MSU's DB's and Those at Florida.

Definitely true. Redmond is a beast but our safety play right now is bad.

Let's hope you have enough for 1A and 1B because that is what you are going to see.

You know nothing of our defense. We were dripping talent in our front 7. Our secondary was troublesome at time, but I think that was directly related to coaching.

No excuse to give up as many passing yards as we did with two corners listed as preseason top 10 in the SEC and an experienced 4* Justin Cox at safety. Diaz did more with less at State than Collins.

So glad we will get to see our best players on the field more than 40% of the time next season.

I heard about that shite. Hopefully he scraps that, unless it's the DL.
