A blocked FG is a much more common play than the miracles AU experienced last year. But don't let facts get in the way of your wet dream about last year.

That play was soul crushing, wasn't it? Auburn winning in O.T. would not have been as dramatic.....the outcome would have been the same nonetheless.

no because you failed at logic. However, if you want to imply that bama fans have no logic, then I agree with your statement

False, I pointed out the infrequence of some of the plays AU made last year. That's a fact. It won't happen again in 2014, and that upsets you. Sorry, but Gene is right....10-2 and a loss in the IB is about right for AU in 2014. A nice trip to Tampa in early January should be a good goal for you guys.

Not soul crushing by a long shot. I have much more important things in my life than a game played by teenagers, fortunately. It was gut-wrenching for about two hours, then I was done with it. How soul crushing was it for you to watch FSU erase a big lead and snatch AU's heart out and stomp all over on the last drive of the natty?

USC? I don't know how you could mark that a L instead of LSU/UGA. Two losses I could see though, that seems reasonable.

Honestly, it was not. It all happened so fast, that it didn't really effect me that much. It was kind of like a "What the hell just happened" moment.

The 2010 loss was much worse IMO because you could feel the tension growing in the stadium the whole second half. It was an entire half of misery rather than just a few seconds.

Do you know what this means?

I'm sorry that by your very definition alabama fits the same thing you are chastising auburn for.

What's it like to be a hypocrite?

Agreed, 2010 was much worse. Bama has blown out AU multiple times since the turn of the century, when's the last time AU has been able to absolutely crush a Bama team by three scores or more? I honestly can't remember.

When has Alabama ever beaten Auburn when they had 9 or more wins for the season? What is Alabama's record in Bryant Denney vs Auburn?

You can thank Tubs for that. He took the foot off the gas many times. In 2005, we could have beat you by 35 easily.

What's it like to be an idiot? Blocking a FG is common in college football. Some of the plays AU pulled last year were just down right miraculous. You do realize that AU even used the phrase "miracle/prayer in jordan hare" to sell shirts, etc after the UGA game right? AU's radio announcer even called it a miracle when it happened live on air. The media billed both of those plays as miracles, incredibly unlikely, etc. Comparing those plays to something as common as a blocked FG is just asinine and you know it. Some of you guys are such homers that you're just dense. You're the perfect case study of this phenomena.

A 99 yard hail mary TD had never happened in Alabama history. That play would be a better comparison to a miracle

I would respond but you just keep moving the goal post.

Again, sorry about bama's lucky plays. I know you hate teams that are lucky.

Don't forget to add in his qualifier of last play/seconds.

Was that the game Bama outscore AU 18-7 over the last 3 quarters? That was the one decent team Shula fielded, at least before Protho and Closner both were lost for the season. Had AU not had a huge 1st quarter they would have lost the game. 35 point win my arse.

Not that uncommon really. Bama lost to LSU in large part b/c of two blocked FG's, by the same guy, just a couple of season ago. I'm sure there have been plenty more games the last few years with two or more blocked FG's as well, certainly more than either of the type of plays AU pulled out of their butts last year.
