I keep seeing Gary Patterson's name thrown around. Is there some sort of connection that might make him leave TCU for Columbia?

They need to go after Charlie Strong. He's a legit possibility, given the turmoil at Texas and has Carolina ties

SC fans have unrealistic expectations now.
He built the program at TCU and SC won't ever be any better than what he has at TCU. He will get other job offers too, maybe even Texas.
