46 was last century.

You're not very good at this.

the point you dumb frick is to point out the absurdity of calling it the game of the century (11 years into the century)...it's didn't even have the most talent on the field at all times THIS CENTURY...that honor goes to OSU-Miami which was also a much better game that actually lived up to it's billing.

The game of the century lauded for all the talent still comes up short vs. Tennessee-Florida in 1998, this century or last.

the point also is.... you've spent pages ITT using a game played in the 90s as evidence as to why a game in 2011 wasn't the game of the century. i know you want to find a way to interject Tennessee into any discussion, but do yourself a favor and just stop while you're behind

There were no less than half a dozen games dubbed "game of the century" during the second half of the 20th century. The 2011 Alabama-LSU game won't be the last to be called such in this century.

Just admit it wasn't the game of the century.

Admit there was more NFL talent on the field in 1998 first

Poor serraneaux, no one cares about your shitty team any more.

One thing is for sure, this was NOT the game of the century:

...but it sure was funny as shite.

You've yet to actually prove it was. No links. Just your word on old box scores and draft results. Who knows if the participation charts are even correct. You never linked them. What we do know if CBS did actual research and had the numbers for Miami-Ohio State and Alabama-LSU.

Florida box score

It will show 20 players that were drafted that played in that game for Florida.

So wait...you link the box score to show the Florida players, but ignore the fact that according to that participation report, your numbers are inflated by like 10? So you go to a "bio" page (which shows that every player not redshirted played all 12 games that season, btw) to get your numbers?

Dude, do you not understand how stupid you are making yourself look?

It was hyped to be the game of the century for 2 weeks and the defenses proved that.

Defenses were great, there is no doubt about that. But both teams had dog dirt QB play. It was a great game, but it had plenty of flaws.

UGA/Bama 2012 SEC title game was much better and that game had a lot of NFL talent playing.

It was called the GotC prior to kickoff. Whether or not it lived up to the hype is up to subjective opinion.

But prior to it, it was pretty much the most hyped game of all time.

No, the USC-Texas Rose bowl was, and it lived up to the expectations

God you are stupid frick aren't you? Florida had 10 starters who were drafted and then another 10 on the participation report for that game as having played in the game.

I used the BIOs for the 2002 Tennessee NFL draftees because there isn't a participation report anywhere. Everyone drafted from 1999, 2000, or 2001 played in that game. Most were starters as stated previously. Is it out of the realm of possibility to assume that a team with at least 18 starters who were drafted (9 on D, 7 on O and 2 specialists) also had 8 other guys who were drafted play in that game as well? The info is there for you to refute. Good luck, you'll need it.

No no...there is a participation report. You just didn't like the names that were on it. So, instead, you went to the bios which showed that every member of the team played in all 12 games unless injured or redshirted....which is obviously logical.

Face it. Zero, and I mean zero media outlets that follow college football agree with you factually or subjectively. To try to make TN relevant again, you pull up bios on players to fabricate a stat that the rest of the free world disagrees with, about a game that isn't even in the same decade, much less century. You're a pathetic little boy.

NO, I didn't you dumb frick. The participation report shows that 9 people played for Tennessee on the link provided? Do you really think Tennessee only played 9 players the whole game?

Again, you are wrong per the usual. Does Dobbs who started 5 games and played in 6 but was not redshirted or injured last year should have 12 games for last year? That is according to your "logic" Funny, how it only says 6 games and 5 started, not 12.

Hey Dummy

I think it's time for a new pair of croakies.
