That's Tiger n Miami. Same MO, style and repetitive rant. That one is probably copied and pasted across many boards. Too obvious.

LSU leads the conference in Sports National Championships and has more than the two SEC HQ home state teams combined.

You left out the part about most of those stats coming against the weak teams.

You're right. 3 of those games of winning by at least 28 points came against Auburn.

Most fans phrase that as "We've beaten as many top 10 teams as we've lost to" - and they brag about it.

It's nice for that to be used as a dig against you.

The SEC has eight stadiums which seat more than 80,000 spectators, two times as many as the second place conference (B1G).

2008
Kentucky (17-14)
Ole Miss (24-20)
LSU (27-21)

2009
Tennessee (12-10)
LSU (24-15)
Auburn (26-21)

2010
Arkansas (24-20)

2012
LSU (21-17)
UGA (32-28)

2013
TAMU (49-42)

2014
Arkansas (14-13)
LSU (20-13)
MSU (25-20)

LSU accounts for 30+% of those wins by fewer than 10 points.

For what it's worth, I'd be willing to bet we've beaten more top 10 teams at the time the game was played than any other team in the country over that span, and probably by a wide margin.

We're 11-4 against teams who are ranked in the Top 10 coming into the game.

Mark Richt won his first 9 games in opposing team's stadiums as an SEC head coach.

Idk if anyone else in the modern era has, but I thought that was impressive. I know saban (at either school), meyer, fulmer, and spurrier didn't. That's all I bothered to look up.

lsu baseball lost to Alabama 28-2 in 1997 before winning the national championship just a few weeks later. it is the worst loss in the program's history

That's crazy. How does that even happen in college baseball? Is there a back story behind that?

Our cycle delivery was delayed

Alabama was really good. I think they also beat us 12-2 that year.

You all better hope Ritter is the official when Alabama plays your team, because when Alabama losses an SEC game he is usually their along with his 100 or so yds in drive killing penalties.

Yep. Fun fact... Of all of the head referees in the SEC, Alabama's record with Tom Ritter officiating is the worst. Something like 10-8 since 2008.

Here's one we can all enjoy - Auburn hasn't won a football game in Baton Rouge since 1999. (Ijust hope our financial difficulties don't cause us to miss any payments on the stiff dew generators.)

Speaking of financial difficulties, will the REC be able to get that Tom Ritter statue up in a timely manner?
