What else is new? Nazi Georgia is back in the news. This time for firing the recruiting staffer who was involved in the crash.

Georgia SEC rant witnesses are confused saying it was just a deer crossing the street.

Rob Buck, an attorney representing Bowles in her lawsuit, said the university has engaged in a “campaign of intimidation” against his client, whose job paid less than $12,000 a year.

“Tory, like all other perceived liabilities to the football program, became expendable to UGA, and despite her loyalty and meager salary, has been steamrolled,” he said.

I need yall to get your story straight.

Going out drinking with players in a strip club, one of whom was underage, in a UGA rental car, is or is not ok for a staffer?

If it's not ok, then isn't it appropriate for this employee to be terminated?

Or are you saying it was all ok, and this employee didn't do anything wrong?

Georgia is the worst. This should make anyone sick. Disgusting behavior by the Georgia admin over this. They should have just settled and moved on. Instead, they’re using an “internal investigation” as an excuse.

But that’s not why she was fired. Read the article.

Wait, so now Georgia is not supposed to investigate?

I would imagine the UGA football coaches and those in charge knew exactly what these staffers were doing at all times.

It's not like they were gonna be taking them to midnight bowling to have some fun.

Both and neither.

"Georgia football and athletic department higher ups clearly condoned this behavior and very possibly specifically instructed this low level staffer to engage in this type of behavior to further the interests of the football program. Now they are firing her on the pretext of her engaging in "wrongful conduct" ("wrongful conduct" they knew about and supported until something bad happened), hoping that she will be the fall guy for their disgusting culture."

-Fired staffer's attorney, probably

I am confused about what the Rant wants. If we do nothing, we have no discipline and have a bad culture.

If we fire a person involved we are being Nazi's?

Please take a poll among Rant posters so we will know how to handle this situation.

TIA.

Personally I think your program should be given the death penalty.

I am sure you were sick when this happened?

-- A woman who accused Florida football players Antonio Callaway of sexually assaulting her and Treon Harris of attempted sexual assault in December is boycotting a Title IX hearing because the university appointed a Gators football booster to adjudicate the case.

I am sure all gator fans were sickened.

Out of curiosity...did Florida settle and move on, or did they rig the results and then moved on?

She failed to fulfill responsibilities of her job and then got fired. Not exactly mind blowing.

What should Georgia do - Rant Poster POLL:

A - Do nothing and prove you have no discipline and support a bad culture

B - Do a token "investigation" and fire some low level staffer to take the fall and try to make this all go away quietly but in reality change nothing about the bad culture

C - Do a real investigation and clean up the corrupt toxic culture that is clearly permeating the football program from the top down and hold Kirby Smart responsible for his dereliction of duties to the student athletes left in his charge.

The OP is a Florida fan. Stones were thrown. Move along.

If the person doesnt comply with multiple cooperation requests then i'd fire her too.

Well. In that case.

And Florida? What should happen to Florida for not only covering up Title IX infractions, sexual assaults...and then when they are brought to light assign an alum booster and ex Florida athlete to rule over the case?

I anxiously await your wisdom.
