Freeze said Thursday on an SEC teleconference he is not involved in the "fact-finding process" and was "shocked like everyone else" when Tunsil acknowledged after being selected by the Miami Dolphins at the NFL draft that he accepted money.

but i thought the NCAA knew about all of this and that Ole Miss reported it. This shite is getting hilarious. Tunsil and Ole Miss need to get their stories straight or Ole Miss is going to get burned.

I dont think that freeze was behind any money exchange. He probably has no idea who or what was involved in the last few recruiting years.
However I do believe he was actively avoiding being aware of such actions. He definitely kept blinders on himself around anything extra curricular like personal recruiting issues.

Freeze is a liar of monumental proportions. I'm far removed from their program and know about improper benefits.

Where are all the Rebs that said the admission was part of the original investigation that Tunsil was suspended for? Freeze would have known if it was but yet he was "shocked" when Tunsil said it. Tunsil's lawyer was supposedly the best source on this matter and he said it wa too. Wouldn't Freeze be a better source?

But the problem occurred when Tunsil's attorney made a statement that these payments were included in the investigation. If Freeze now says he was unaware, he is essentially admitting to a LOIC if his coaches are paying players without him knowing about it. It's turned into such a dog and pony show. Either all parties involved are completed ignorant or they have really bad people advising them on what to say or both.
