What a liar! Is everyone sure that he wasn't somehow affiliated with a prior Auburn coach staff?

I don't know. Militant atheists are pretty good at spreading lies about religion and religious people. Like "if there was no religion we would never have any wars"

This article contains some more inflammation. I mean information.

“I know nothing,” Freeze said.

I’ll be very quick to come out and defend us when it’s something that we know the facts on. I don’t at this present time. I know our administration is working, and I’m told they made a lot of progress, that they’re collecting everything so they know exactly what the facts are before we run out and make any type of response.
“I’m trying to be patient, like I said in my opening statement. That’s difficult for me sometimes because you want to respond. But there’s great wisdom in being patient and making sure you get the facts, and we’re still in that process. Our administration will continue to work with all the parties to reach a conclusion as soon as possible, which we’re hopeful that’s coming quickly.”
quote:
“I think (whether Tunsil’s comment impacts the NCAA process) depends on what the facts reveal,” Freeze said. “(Bjork and I) haven’t even discussed the next step. You get the facts first and then you’ll know a lot more after that what they are.
quote:
“But the facts are always more important than the speed or our public response, which is difficult for me sometimes because I want to respond.”

Freeze said Thursday on an SEC teleconference he is not involved in the "fact-finding process" and was "shocked like everyone else" when Tunsil acknowledged after being selected by the Miami Dolphins at the NFL draft that he accepted money.
the followup question should have been....
Coach Freeze if thats the case what does that say about your control over your staff and players

Him waiting for the facts to be investigated before making a statement is ignoring them? Sounds smart to me

I guess he learned to be patient and gather facts between the "we're all proud of Laremy for defending his mother" and now.

I think we can conclude from this:
1. This wasn't some kind of emergency relief fund.
2. This isn't something that is in the NOA, or previously or an issue previously addressed with the NCAA.

More like waiting for the Ole Miss version of the facts to be cooked up. I'm sure they had them until draft night and then had to go back to the drawing board. That 30 day extension turned out to be a blessing after all.

I dont think that freeze was behind any money exchange. He probably has no idea who or what was involved in the last few recruiting years. However I do believe he was actively avoiding being aware of such actions. He definitely kept blinders on himself around anything extra curricular like personal recruiting issues.
Whaddya know? Someone else on this board understands how the system works.
Every HC knows he cannot recruit successfully if an effective shadow system is not in place, but he never wants to know who or how.

Correct use a Casablanca quote deserves plenty of up votes.

Why would it be a secret?

This is just sad.

This makes it crystal clear that they had no idea about it before his tv admission. And that it was definetly not part of the previous investigation.

How long could "fact gathering" take?
"hey Laremy, did u take $ from a coach?" If yes, " which coach?" And "For what reason?"
More like they need time to manipulate facts to cover their asses.

The plausible deniability approach doesn't really work anymore. Pete Carroll "didn't know". Larry Brown "didn't know". Rick Pitino "didn't know".

The burden of responsibility for reporting violations has shifted and the NCAA is getting serious about holding coaches responsible for preventing, detecting and reporting NCAA rules violations. Beginning August 1, the NCAA board of directors will allow head coaches to be penalized individually for violations committed by their assistants, unless they can prove they took preventive steps to acknowledge potential violations.

December 2015 Freeze stated - "And we all follow the plan I created for recruiting"
February 2016 Freeze stated - "We've had four consecutive top 15 classes. I know how we do things. I know how our staff does things."
February 2016 Freeze stated - "I am confident that how we do things inside this building are the right way."
Today Freeze states - "I know nothing."

Like watching the defense of a criminal, when the lawyer waits until he has all the discovery.....then crafts his defense the best way he can around what they can prove, can't prove or don't know.
The problem may lie in the "hacker" and what they know........Ole Miss and Freeze are not sure what to say right now, when the "hacker" might release something that could counter it. So instead, it's all quite.........
Man this 30 for 30 is setting up to be good.....I mean Emmy good !!!

but i thought the NCAA knew about all of this and that Ole Miss reported it. This shite is getting hilarious. Tunsil and Ole Miss need to get their stories straight or Ole Miss is going to get burned.
If OM is throwing buckets of cash at recruits, how in the world is Tunsil in need of $305?
You can't have it both ways.
