he's had over 30 carries just once this season. 31 against Florida. He averages 25 carries a game

do your research

Dude I can't even express how much you just wasted your time looking up all of these stats. We've played seven games with some good/bad D's.... He has smoked them all and will continue to do it no matter who we play....stop trying to kid yourself. And he will be playing Bama off of two weeks rest with fresh legs and a Oline that is mauling everyone they face. FL came into Death Valley leading the SEC in sacks....guess what?FL never touched a finger on Harris. You think your Dline is hotshit, but seem to forget how nasty this LSU Oline is. Good luck buddy

He may get 85 on the first series, depending on whether or not you have a decent pooch kick.

Who's that one good back? Chubb or Corey Clement? Oh maybe Hurd?

Alabama is the 3rd best rushing defense in the nation and only giving up 78.5 yards a game, so if LF continues his "dominating performance" he will get 85.5 yards.

For those who can't watch BAMA every week, can you or any other BAMA fan post which RBs Alabama has faced this year?

TIA

Jalen Hurd just went 18 for 92 yards.

The key isn't Fournette's yards. I feel like it's a decent bet he gets over 100 in the game. The key is to make him earn it grinding it out, keeping his ypc down, not giving up explosive plays to him - particularly TDs. Make LSU get the ball in the endzone through the air if they are going to score.

I could live with a Fournette stat line of 27 carries, 135 yards, and 1 TD.

You pick a guy that got hurt and had 8 rushes before he went down.

5 yds per carry?

I'd take this and a W back to BR.

Who? Congrats on stopping some guy on 8 carries.

So back to how yall did against that one good back? And how'd yall do this past week while we're at it?

If they hold LF7 to 85, LSU has lighting up their secondary. LSU has the athletes to be man-to-man coverage. LSU is no longer a one trick pony.

That's kind of what I am expecting and we can win with that as long as we don't turn it over or blow coverage in the secondary

That'd be nice, but I doubt it. We didn't do it against Chubb (yes I know it was mostly one run, but it counts just the same)...and Hurd was close to 100 as well. The game is likely to be a close one and LSU will not give up on its running game so LF will get a lot of carries. If we hold him to under 150, I'll be happy...if we hold him to under 125, I'll be ecstatic...

Did you really use team rushing stats in the context of Fournette? Lol

If Fournette has under 100 yards this game it's because we're up by 3+ TDs in the first half and we're resting him in the 2nd half.

There is no doubt in my mind he will have at least 25 touches this game...and I'm expecting 30-35.
