Fournette will be held to ~85 yards actually.

No doubt Fournette is a great running back but these crazy rushing numbers have came against some really bad rush defenses. Here's a looks at all seven games, number of yards he got, average rushing yards that team is giving up per game, and the percent of yards LF got versus that teams average.

Opp LF Yds / Avg Def Yds / %
Miss State 159 / 161.8 / 98%
Auburn 228 / 199.9 / 114%
Syracuse 244 / 148.1 / 165%
Eastern Michigan 233 / 340.4 / 68%
South Carolina 158 / 200.1 / 79%
Florida 180 / 116.6 / 154%
Western Kentucky 150 / 177.5 / 85%

Here's these teams rushing defense rankings: 79, 94, 43, 128, 96, 20, and 99.

Only 1 team with a top 40 rushing defense and the team that is ranked dead last in the FBS is rushing defense.

As bad as these teams are 4 out of 7 held LF under their rushing average. But if you average the % of yards he gets, he is average 109% of the opponents rushing defense.

Alabama is the 3rd best rushing defense in the nation and only giving up 78.5 yards a game, so if LF continues his "dominating performance" he will get 85.5 yards.

You never go full gump.

Yall have faced one good running back. How many yards did he have? And yes, all yards count before you make excuses.

He'll be lucky to come out of that game alive, to be honest.

Fournette will never be held to under a 100 yards against any team. He gets the ball 30 plus times a game if he just runs it for 3 yards a carry he will get close to 100 yards. Baka just has to make him less effective and force some turnovers in the passing game.

It's not exactly a secret that Bama has an excellent front 7. They may very well keep LF in check, but I don't think any LSU fan is expecting that LSU can rely solely on the run to win this game. Harris will have to have one of his best games. Bama may be able to get away wi7 in the box when other put 8 with the same outcome, who knows.

All accomplished between 2 1/2 to 3 quarters in each game. Imagine what those numbers would look like had he played a full game.

I also love how you choose to use this stat

like the SC game where LF was on the bench early in the 3rd quarter and Guice ran for 160 against SC

I'm hoping to hold him to 4 ypc or less for us to have a good shot at winning.
