The previous generations didn't let Foster piss in the same bathroom as them, so spare me the generational stuff.

Because this is a free country and I can click on whatever topic I want just like Arian Foster deciding to take a knee.

These guys have the right to disrespect our flag. And I have the right to think they're a bunch of attention-whoring POS's. Frick them. Especially today, of all days.

That took a lot of courage to do what he did.

90% of the media is on his side, the current political regime is on his side, most big businesses are on his side, at least half of his coworkers are probably on his side, higher education is on his side, the league has said there will be no repercussions, and he has plenty of internet cucks like you to defend him. It doesn't take any courage to follow the mob.

Is it his right? yes. he can do that. But just because something is your "right" doesn't mean you should do it. What will their actions change? Does it bring attention to the cause they are wanting to highlight, or does it bring attention to themselves?

There are better ways to handle this. All this shows is somebody that seeks out attention. This is certainly not a noble or selfless act. I notice nobody took a knee for the police officers that died who were completely innocent. not one of the officers that were killed in retaliation had killed anyone. Taking a knee in "protest" gives the terrorists who killed the police officers a certain amount of validity.

Not sure about this part. But the rest of your post nails it.

Previous generations wouldn't let Foster piss next to them = if Foster was alive during previous generations Jim Crowe laws passed and upheld by previous generations would have prevented him from pissing in the same bathroom.

Again, reread the back and forth. The point was about a post praising previous generations, not Foster's point of view.

Come on, man. I may not agree with his general position on this subject, but it is a subject that bears discussion. Do it civilly. If you disagree, then make your point. Doing what you did helps nothing.

This generation is a soft bunch of pussies. Just like the poster was hinting at. But trying to apply foster to a generation that he didn't experience "not pissing next to a white man" is bullshite. He lives in this generation where he has been afforded the privilege of playing on Sunday
