ou really just don't get it do you? It's by design. Bret is getting to do in home visits that he wouldn't be able to do if he had already hired a DC.

you guys really took that and ran with it, didnt you. Again, this sounds more like your fanbase is trying to find anything to mitigate the reality.

This is hilarious. I really hope this Aub fan is just trolling and not really this stupid. Sure, coach doesn't fire his friend so as not to further damage his reputation. You ask for a link as if missing the entire point of the favor

I don't know if that's what happened or not but it does seem to be the most logical explanation for why he took a pay cut and there was no attempt to retain him. Of course logic doesn't seem to be your strong point.

of course its the only "logical explanation" there isnt anything else

then you post this

quote:

Of course logic doesn't seem to be your strong point

I'm not sure why you would even bother having a conversation with people like that. They seem incapable of carrying out any sort of intelligent/objective thought process.

Sad really, they remind me of Minnesota fans. Always in denial. 10 days from signing day and still no DC, but they think Bielema "let him go." Maybe they will find a solid up and coming FCS DC like there last hire at D-line.

As much as I love to watch arky spin control in motion and the shite they come up with, I agree with this quote.

I agree that the D-line hire was less than impressive. I'm not in any sort of denial, just looking at the info that is out there objectively.

Your only argument here is that he bailed from arky for less money because arky is so awful

One the other side of the coin his performance last season was absolutely terrible, correct? BB has kept other coaches on staff by offering more money in the past, correct?

Which of these two arguments seem more reasonable?

If you want my honest opinion, Bielema told Ash to go ahead and look around at other jobs because his safeties showed no improvement during the year and Ash wasn't recruiting. Bret wasn't happy with Ash and let him know it.

If Ash hadn't found a good enough job, he would have been retained for another year. Bielema wasn't pleased with Ash's season at Arkansas, but he wasn't about to kick his friend to the curb.

Ash found the Ohio State job and Bret wished him the best of luck. If you believe that Ash left Arkansas simply because Arky sux, then how do you explain all the other coaches on the staff who are still here?

Please do tell the other scenarios in which a person who failed at his job winds up taking a position at a different place of employment for less money.
