Arkansas' football program is a sinking ship. Bielema is way over his head.

Ohio State is where coaches who can't cut it in the SEC go to lose to Michigan State.

Bielema didn't even try to retain him. Sounding like he won't exactly be missed.
Lol, keep telling yourself that. No one wants the Arkansas DC job. Hence getting turned down by the Memphis DC and hiring an FCS defensive line coach.

I'm just curious as to why we should listen to a school that has never officially beaten an SEC team in a bowl game EVER.
Hell, Bret Bielema has more bowl wins against the SEC personally than Ohio State does in all of recorded history.

I'm sure he will be missed...I loved that Solomon Thomas anxiously wanted to meet Ash on his OSU visit. We've been recruiting that guy for a while. This is also a recruiting issue as well it seems

he's probably just concerned that urban has the sniffles therefore is about to die if he doesn't slow down and quit his coaching job.
btw- that pic of urbs eating the pizza all alone after losing to michigan state made me smile. although, i doubt pizza is the best thing for him given his health problems.

If he's going from Ark to OSU he should expect to take a cut in pay.....

Ash couldn't handle the SEC so he packed his bags and went back to mediocre land.
If Arkansas got to play Ohio State's schedule he'd still be our DC.

Sometimes, coaches get homesick for their home state and leave a job for one that's dear to their heart.

Im not gonna bash the Hogs on this but it reconfirms the thoughts that Burt is in over his head a little in the SEC.
I think he is a decent coach but the potential turn-around time for the program is gonna be longer than a season or two as he adjusts.
My gut tells me, if he is given the chance, he can turn things around in the long run. What that will look like (Compete for the division or just winning seasons) I dont know.
