LSU is bigger than any coach.
What Program has BCS championships under multiple coaches.
LSU is not defined by a coach.

That's a good thing.
Can someone quickly bring up the pic of Leslie digging in his ear?

He's handsome, too.
Sandra Bullock wants the D.

Why does this have to be said everyday...? We get it, Saban = God.

While I appreciate the tone of the article, all of the construction and plans for renovation were started before Saban got here, and a huge chunk of out of state students are not paying anywhere close to full tuition. Very little of those has to do with Saban and much more to do with the massive capital campaign the article mentions.

I do not want to go to Alabama either.

UA has gone the appeal to the masses approach when it comes to the college, it gets numbers to go there but it waters down the degrees a lot. They are gaming the system when it comes to rejections so that it doesn't hurt them in US News rankings as much but there are a lot of UAT alumni not pleased with the way the school is heading right now.

I put the part in bold that made me not take anything you say about this matter seriously.

Not concerned if you do or not.
Just stating a fact that several alumni of UA, specifically at Tusc, are upset over the way things are going academically. The school, financially and structurally, is doing well, they are concerned about the value of future degrees and how they may be watered down due to the large increase in students.

As an alumnus, I feel differently. I also know myraid alumni who feel the same as me. I guess we'll just have to take the anecdotal evidence we both presented for what it is worth.

I know someone who just chose to go to LSU over Alabama.

You had to know it was only a matter of time before an Auburn fan used the "I know several UA alumni who are unhappy about this" or the even more popular Auburn reply of "guidance counselers say UAT is a garbage school" line. It's inevitably brought up when ANYTHING remotely positive is written about Alabama as a school. As an alumnus, I'm thrilled with what UA leaders have done the last 5 to 10 years. I would like to see them cap enrollment where it is though.

This is so ridiculous. Acceptance rates have significantly gone DOWN. The school is becoming more selective.
I guess alumni from enormous, quality schools like UCLA and Michigan have totally worthless degrees.
