Cotton is always up towards the top. It usually has a good match up. This year....it will be a good one I think. I wouldn't mind getting tickets to it.

Surprised where the BBVA Compass (Formerly Papa Johns) bowl is on that list.

You overlooked Kentucky.

Understandable...

I am not paying that for a football ticket along with the money for a plane ticket and hotel, and food and tourist attractions.

Hell no.

My arse watching a TV will be just fine.

Dude... you'll regret it for the rest of your life if you don't go.

I had to bite the bullet last year - knowing that Bama might not ever make it back to the Rose Bowl stadium. You gotta do it. 30 years from now you won't give two fricks about that $2000-$3000.

Do you really think this? I am waffling on it. Not because of the money, but time. Too much travel before and after. Most fans don't go, but watch it with other fans.

Personally, I am really torn. My Bama grad wife is supportive of us going even though we didn't go to LA last year. She doesn't seem to put out by it and we had a good time at a viewing party. Just can't make up my damn mind...

Imagine paying over $1100 for a ticket only to have the NC taken away.

My tickets were $994 each for club level. I say why the hell not. You can't take the money with you when you die. Plus, I can always make more money.

going to the game is a hell of a time but it can be just as fun watching with close friends.

ive went 2 both national titles for LSU but that was in nola.

last year for the nfc title game and super bowl i had a party at the house and it was a pretty great feeling seeing it with friends.

I believe you will regret not going if you have the chance. I had a chance to get a ticket to the game last year, but didn't take it because I needed to save the money. I regret not going. As for it being taken away in the future(if auburn wins), look at it like this: Even if that does happen, the NCAA/BCS/AP may be able to take away the wins, but they can't take away the experience of being at the stadium watching your team win the National Championship. Records can be changed, memories can't

yea but the memory is no good if you have no hardware from it.

id still go bc i bet it would be fun but im just saying i wouldn't shell out as much money as i would if i knew the title would be legit

I didn't pay the average for the Gator Bowl but then my seats are in the West upper. I just want to be on the inside and am not willing to pay ridiculous sums to get close.

yeah...I was pissed in the seats the university gave me last year. I paid $100 for my ticket only to be put on the upper deck very top row of Jerry World. I felt cheated out of money. haha But at least I was there.

Ross, how many times have you gotten to see your team play for the National Championship?

This isn't a flame, NC's are hard to come by in auburn. It may be another 50 years before they get to play for or win another. If I were you, I would take it, because you might never see it again. Hell, Alabama, Florida, and LSU may never go to another one either. Do it
