Will it be worth every penny if they lose?

A chance you'd have to take...

Not sure. Haven't lost in quite a while.

Could you ask some of your brethren that made the trip to South Carolina (or Baton Rouge)?

3-4K, eh?

I just spoke with the wife about it. She just told me that I am getting tickets for Christmas. Not to the BCSCG, but to the Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes...

That would be two trips costing about the same within six months. Much more difficult decision now. Good grief.

Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer.

You're going for the experience of being in the BCSCG and supporting your team. Only a bandwagon sidewalk fan regrets going if his team loses.

Wasn't a stupid question. And it wasn't even directed at you

Yep, if you have to, just make it your only vacation of the year. Wouldn't be worth not going IMHO...

Our 5 year anniversary is in April and we had planned on making a trip to the Caribbean, but that is gonna have to wait. We'll do it next year. I've been to Auburn 5 times this year and was in Atlanta last weekend, but haven't gone into a game yet. No way we're missing this. We're flying in Saturday morning and leaving Tuesday. 4 days with my closest friends for this event is worth everything.

Yep. Would suck arse beyond belief to see another team celebrating, but the chance of missing something like this far outweighs the cons.

Oh, my bad. I didn't mean to infringe on your private conversation, which you were obviously trying to keep discreet.

Who would pay that much to see SMU and Army?

I can't speak for you, as I don't know your personal situation...I can tell you that my wife left a very cush corporate job to go back to school to be an elementary teacher and we've been blowing through savings off our one income, but we'll figure it out as we go. I'm not missing this.

I know that you're on your private line, but I just had to interrupt to say:

That's cold. You got me good.

My whole point is that I wasn't even talking to you and you turn into an arse over a simple question. A sincere question. I wasn't flaming. I wasn't being an a-hole. I was honestly wondering if he would still think it was worth every penny if they lost.

If we lost, I'd say it was worth .50 on the dollar. If we won, I'd say it was worth $100 to the dollar...give or take a penny.

If what you say is true, I sincerely apologize for misinterpreting your intentions.

If you're just giving me the business, however...
