Patterson has already turned these programs down.

He is paid more at TCU than he would be at these programs and his wife loves the area.

I don't think anyone really doubts that Patterson could just as well stay at TCU as go, but the fact the OP apparently knows more then the numerous programs that have courted him is hilarious.

Really?

Looks like a bottom 3 program in the SEC...

Right.

If it is as easy for programs to go get whoever they want, then why did LSU have to settle for an up and comer at Oklahoma St to replace Saban?

Currently, yes, the defense is OK but the offensive side of the ball needs a complete rebuild.

So a team coming off a complete rebuild is in need of a rebuild. Elite coaches are going to be line up around the block for a situation like that.

Sure.

Its better than "x" big name had no interest so we hand selected from the list of names available to us.

Thinking it is not true is why Florida hired a Defensive Coordinator with no HC experience the last time and is now looking to replace him.

Dude went cheap. Lsu could have had petrino but he rubbed them the wrong way in the interview. At this time petrino was a top up and comer.

For a top 10 defense in the country, and an offense WITH young playmakers like Harris, Robinson, Taylor, and with a starting TE McGee coming back next year??

GTFO with that shite. Driskel's play hindered the offense more than anyhting.

Muschamp was hciw at Texas and considered the top coordinator in the country in line to be a hc. Good hire at the time to most people.

Harris looks good because Driskel is bad. No one is jumping up and down to coach him next year.

I agree with this.

Florida didn't get who they wanted was the point.

Petrino turned them down long before Muschamp was offered the job.

The real question for Florida is do they go with an offensive coach again and if so what kind of offense do they go with and who is that coach from there.
