Bobby Petrino came off as a dick in the interview

Probably because he's a dick in real life.

quote:

Jack Del Rio (who was actually a hot name in the NFL in 2004) wouldn't leave his car because his agent told him the Jags owner was going to fire him for just taking the interview.

He most likely would have, another NFL coach was fired for saying a college job was his dream job around that time as well.

Having interviews is not the same as having a name and going out and getting him with no others considered which is what was being implied.

He was the first person Foley contacted about the opening.

You can tell whoever told you that to sell it somewhere else. There is no way you or anyone you know would be privy to that.

Sure. Because you know me and those I know.

Its OK many Auburn fans think Gustav was their AD's first choice last time as well.

For folks saying proof, it is pretty moot. Unless an agent makes a public splash for their client, most top list folks data is kept in the dark. At least 1 such deal was done and not made public for almost a half year later when the PR had adjusted enough to go public.

As for the reverse media spin, Rick Barnes has just announced turning down the Gators football job.

He's not an exciting prospect at this level given what he's demonstrated this year. He's good on his feet but not electric (IMO). His passing is very mediocre. But if you need to feel better about next year, I get it.

Wow... You really are clueless.

EDIT: And probably basing everything on the Mizzou @ UF game after Driskel single-handily gave yall the game.

I've seen him in multiple games.

He's not an accurate thrower and not an all world runner. Feel free to keep saying I'm wrong.

Obviously if you were wrong, we wouldn't be discussing Boom's unemployment.
