How many of you honestly think Nick Saban is unhappy at Alabama and will leave for another job before he retires?
I know it can be difficult for you guys to offer an honest opinion due to the joy you all get from stirring the Alabama fan base, but try to be objective and honest in your responses.

I think most would back me up that I tend to be about as objective a poster as possible.
I don't see Saban wanting to retire with Bama. I think the PSU job could be very enticing when Joe Pa finally dies.
If Saban wanted a legitimate long term deal then Bama wouldn't have needed to let Saban grab them by the nuts when he wrote his contract. Saban can leave at any given moment and there is nothing Bama can do--for such a historic program, it definitely doesn't sound like Saban is set in stone as their coach.
5 more years max IMO.
I don't even say this trying to stir the pot. I really objectively think this.

Penn State? How is that a better job than Bama? Bama made him the most powerful coach in all of college sports. It is easier to play under the shadow of a coach that has been gone for many years vice under the immediate shadow of JoePa. Yes the SEC is a tougher conference to play in but AL and its surroundings is much more fertile recruiting grounds than PA.

I cannot see Saban leaving Bama on his own will unless its due to controversy or another team is willing to mortgage the university to get him.

I agree with the PSU deal, do you really think Saban would think Joe P's shadow was too much for him hahahah
I really think ND is more likely, there will be competition for the job and it's ripe for the turn around.

For Saban, it's all about the $$$. So who do u think has a deeper pocket than Bama?

I don't think he's unhappy. I do think if he gets an offer from Notre Dame he'd consider. They have a fan base and alumni with deep pockets.

Because he still has lots of time left in his coaching career, I think that he finds a university that he can be a legend at. We all know that he will never be a legend at bama. Ya'll already have one.

Follow the money. I give you 3-5 years, win or lose.

Penn State has a bigger recruiting base than the entire SEC combined. Basically the entire Northeastern US, plus Canada.
They have one of the two largest alumni networks, the other being Michigan.
Penn State is a sleeping giant, waiting for someone to take them to the next level.
I don't know if Saban will leave Alabama, but I can point out he's never been anywhere more than five years.

Why does it matter to you what LSU fans think about his future at BAMA?

i think the bammers will eventually drive him away early

I think he'll live when Bama gets another probation

I think the chances are good he leaves before retirement. Because he is unhappy? Not sure. I think if he gets a title there, he will be listening to offers. He appears to enjoy a new challenge. I don't see him finishing his career there though. Nothing against Bama but he has a lot of years of coaching ahead of him. Lets just say he keeps having contenders but never gets to the big game. How long does Bama stick with him? Works both ways. He goes another 5-6 years with no title or even a title appearance, the fan base and school may want to cut ties. They are expecting to win it soon.

That is what I think. I don't think Saban dislikes Alabama. I think he likes living in the south, I thik he probably likes Mal Moore and the guys that work around him and why shouldn't he, they give him anything he wants.
I think it will be the rogue boosters associated with our Univrsity that think the rules do not apply to them that will eventually be what causes coach Saban to leave Alabama. I am glad we have him right now but I do worry that he will not be able to tolerate a particular portion of our boosters for very long.
Just my opinion.

There's not one "bammer" putting more pressure on Saban to win than he puts on himself.
The guy has complete control over the program at Bama and that would not be the case at PSU or ND for that matter.
The perfect situation presented itself twice for him in LSU and at Bama. I don't think he wants to start from scratch again, but I guess it could happen.

I can't believe you started this thread. Absolute fail.

I don't know if he's happy or not. But his history says he's not going to be in it for the long haul.
