I will keep on subject.

1. The reversal of your # 1, we need to establish a run game. Also similar to what you are needing, about 4 ypc. That will not be easy but can be done.
2. Need to force UF into 3rd & Long situations. Our lack of DL depth will not go over well is UF is in 2nd or 3rd & short all day.
3. Win the turnover battle. Murphy looks really good, need to get some type of pressure and force a few bad throws. Home feild enviornment will help too.
4. Continue being effective on 3rd down. Mett to OBJ/Landry on 3rd down has been (in my opinion) the key to our offensive success.
5. Last is just to tackle well. UF has some good backs and if we cannot wrap them up, it could be another long day for the D.

Should be another great game between UF/LSU. I will hate the day (if it ever happens) that UF is no longer a permanent team on our schedule.
My prediction: Tigers Win!

Serious question....I've watched most of LSU's games (south Louisiana resident and all) but how do YOU see your O line?

Good stuff Ig. I honestly think you will run well on us. I'm still a bit worried on our run d vs a great back.

This is a field goal game, and we have no kicker or punter this year.

I don't think we have to average 4 a carry, but we have to be successful enough to set up the pass.

We are going to give up some in the pass d, but they aren't going to going up and down on us. As long as we limit the big plays we have a shot, and in BR that's all you can ask for.

Our O-line has flashes of dominant play. Go look at all of Hills long TDs, and they are setup by nearly perfect blocking across the line and including TEs and our FB.

I know Florida's d-line will be the best we have played to date... but no one should over look MSST d-line. I know... I know... dumpster fire, fire muffin.. blah blah... but really. They are pretty damn solid. So while I do beleive Florida's Dline > any Dline we have played so far. Its not by as much as some may think on first glance. To me, the strength of Florida's D is that it is so solid across the board. Good coverage leads to coverage sacks, good contain by OLBs leads to more tackls and TFLs by the interior guys, etc.

Miss St does have a pretty solid D-line, but I still expect Mett to get knocked on his arse a couple times.

Still won't change the outcome.

Oh, def agree. If MSST and the other teams we have played can get a sack here and there, I fully expect Florida will get a few as well.

The biggest single difference is play calling.

Last year we couldn't check out of or make adjustments to what UF was doing on D. This year Cam knows how to adjust and has proven that this year.

On D, well, in the 2nd half of the Miss state game he started to live and die by the blitz. It paid off and I think it is what we have to do given the troubles of our D.

Some key freshman are making gains, White and RR. Kwon is a beast and I expect Beckwith to see some time.

In all, I think this game will be close. Both teams will score. I think UF will get some key stops, but I also think LSU will make some big plays in the O.

I think the difference will be UF turnovers in DV.

LSU pulls away late to win by 10.

Tyler Murphy is an upgrade and I know LSU is not as good on defense this year but it's in Baton Rouge and I think their defense can stop what is essentially a one dimensional offense as Murphy doesn't appear to be a great passer like Murray and when he has protection AJ. I think LSU wins a close one but Murphy has certainly improved that offense tremendously.

I am interested in this match-up b/c of the formations we pass out of.

Previous to this year, we did not have deep threats out of the I formation. Well, we all know who OBJ and Landry are now.

That is what is most scary about this team. We will show power run (and have the ability to do it) and then hit you on a deep route.

Awwww, gotta give the vols a day or two to troll. They actually played an SEC power to a close game that COULD have gone their way. I say let their fans here on tSECR have their few days of mud slinging before they go back to being an after thought

mercy trolling. ole jed is pathetic but we'll let it slide because, you know, he's UT and all. we let him out of the basement on occasion.

Florida vs LSU is strength against strength.

Which is better, Florida's defense or LSU's offense. At this point, Florida is Bama lite. They have the defense, but lack the offense.

LSU's defense is about as weak as it gets for an LSU defense, but LSU may now have the best passing attack in their history.

This should be a very good game with two evenly matched teams. How Florida's inexperienced QB reacts to Tiger Stadium might be the difference.

Maybe the other way around? I think Florida's got the best D in the SEC for right now. Bama's may end up being better by season's end depending on how they continue to improve.

In the swamp, we lose by 10

Since it's in BR, I say we pull it out by 3.

I'm hoping for a "back alley brawl" where the team that controls the line of scrimmage wins. I think we can win that type of game.
If it's a fast break/uptempo type game, we'll lose and badly.

If it lasts long enough, you might get to heart this. . .
