Florida vs Lsu non troll thread

Is it possible to discuss the game with rational talk without trolls, or absurd homerism? Let's try. What do you guys feel is needed for Lsu to pull off the victory? For us, I think a few things have to happen.
1. We must stop Hill. Mett will make plays, but if we can frustrate Lsu by plugging up the run this works for us. We have the best pass d in the nation, though mett and his two NFL receivers will get theirs, if we can make Lsu force throws in tight windows vs our dbs it bolds well for us.
2. Average over 4 ypc. Uf needs to control the pace of the game.
3. No turnovers - Lsu is too good to make mistakes vs in their house and win.
4. Put mett on his butt - We have to keep mett uncomfortable in the pocket, make him nervous and hope it leads to overthrows, picks, etc.
5. I must wear my black gator hat. We haven't lost a game when i am wearing it, so It's got to be worn.

LSU simply doesn't have the horses to keep up with the Gators. This isn't TCU, or that swiss cheese UGA defense.

Our defense has to do something. Anything. This includes actually tackling and being within 20 yards of receivers. If we can limit Florida to a few scores, our offense wins the game.
As an LSU fan, give me a couple of Florida players to look for on offense and defense. I haven't been able to follow the Gators closely this year.

We have a plethora of running backs in the mix. I'm more worried about Flo-rida's pass D than anything else.
Mettenburger(All, Hail
) will not see the dirt more than 2 times or so all night. Turnovers should be avoided on both sides because I feel like whoever wins this stat wins the game.

I can't wait to see who wins the battle between LSU's passing attack and UF's Passing D. Should be a battle.

Offense: Solomon Patton
Defense: Louchiez Purifoy/Vernon Hargreaves

Hargreaves can I wouldn't test him with them. Roberson and purifoy tend to grab their receiver when they cut or turn. So if you throw at roberson, you may not complete it but you may get pass interference. He's know for it. Hargreaves plays the ball though, which is why gator fans love him.

Offense - Burton is basically the Reed this year. The qbs safety spot basically. Patton is the playmaker.
Defense : Fowler and Hargreaves are the most fun to watch

Offense: our two main receivers have been Patton and Burton. Jones is our starter at rb...but doesn't look like he's playing at 100% yet, not sure if it's effort or still feeling the effects of the preseason illness.
Defense: almost all of them....Fowler, Powell, Jacobs on the line; Morrison at lb; Purifoy, Roberson, and Hargreaves III in the secondary. All play makers...all with the ability to change the game

Chinese why do you think mett won't hit the ground? He's been sacked quite often and this is by far the best dline you've played. Have you had injures on the line or something that are now more healthy?

1. You CAN contain the LSU run. I'm not sure you can stop it though. Hill has the potential to break the long one at any time, especially if you crowd the LOS and he gets behind them. But on a play to play basis -you can stop our run. You have no shot at stopping our passing game. It's not going to happen because we have something semi-freakish going on right now. Advantage LSU.

Awwww, gotta give the vols a day or two to troll. They actually played an SEC power to a close game that COULD have gone their way. I say let their fans here on tSECR have their few days of mud slinging before they go back to being an after thought.
