I agree. Not sure of stats or O ranking but the 2012 O had all the weapons, and put to use, for sure.

I blame LSU fans for teaching SCar how to be whiny.

And I used to like them so much.

Depends on who leaves early. Worst case scenario we'll be replacing 7 starters on D plus a new QB

I was talking about defense alone. We should have the defensive line back if Pagan doesn't leave early. Plus all the depth. We lose Mosley and Hubbard at LB, but everyone else is back. HaHa could go early at safety, but he and Collins should be back. At CB, Belue is gone but we will have Geno and Cyrus Jones back.

1800 rushing and 1900 receiving over 3 years. That's a great player. But could've been better.

Really?

One game as a measuring stick?

If 2009 Tennessee (7-6) gave Alabama all it could handle, why couldn't 2008 UF? If 2009 Auburn gave Alabama all it could hand before a 4th quarter collapse, why couldn't 2008 UF?
If 2011 UF gave Alabama all they could handle before a 4th quarter collapse, why couldn't 2008 UF? IF 2011 LSU could beat Alabama on their home turf, why couldn't 2008 UF?
If 2012 UGA gave Alabama all they could handle before a 4th quarter collapse, why couldn't 2008 UF? If 2012 TAMU could beat Alabama on their home turf, why couldn't 2008 UF?

Stupid fricking logic.

Why is it flawed logic? If 2008 Alabama almost beat 2008 Florida, why couldn't a more veteran team in 2009 do the same. Or more talented teams in 2011 and 2012?

Just stop posting. You are making yourself look dumber by the post.

Was Cam or Brantley the back-up QB in '08?

Not that hard at all. I just thought to myself "What would the typical LSU fan say?" and then posted the opposite.

Glad UF finally has to face a real team from the west. I'm sick of them getting all the pansies.

Steve Spurrier is sick of Bama hiding from Florida and Georgia from the East.

According to Steve Spurrier,“Since 2000, LSU has played SEC East Division heavyweights Florida and Georgia 17 times. Alabama has played them eight times – the lowest of any West Division team.”

Both were still on the roster IIRC.

Cam left after 08.

I need an Auburn fan to confirm this because I'm not 100% sure.

Wow. Just wow.

You think about LSU way too much. You actually try to put yourself in the mind of an LSU fan

Maybe try and talk about what the thread is actually about? Just once?

I was too. Definitely losing Stinson, CJ, Belue, Fulton (may or may not start) with Pagan, Hubbard, HaHa, and Trey being possibilities. We'll likely be replacing a good bit on D in '14.

Be good for the thread also, since the discussion seems to be every UA/UF matchup except for 2014.

08 UF would run circles around any team in Bama's history

UF, LSU, UA and aTm are all going to be extremely good in 2014. It's going to be a crazy year.

LSU has probably the best class I've seen in my 25 years.

But that UF/UA game will be one for the ages.

If only we could see it more often

That is what the thread is about.

In 1992, Florida was assigned the easiest cross-division opponent, and has cakewalked to nearly one third of the conference championships and 3 NC's in that time. It's high time they had to face real teams from the west.
