Again... UF faced Bama in 08 without its BEST offensive player.

And to anyone who wants to debate this: Percy Harvin in 08 was more valuable to the team than Tebow was.

In 2015 they'll probably get Vanderbilt, and LSU will get USC again.

Depends on who leaves early. Worst case scenario we'll be replacing 7 starters on D plus a new QB

only because of the whoville whiners. But we do appreciate the REC doing what the REC does so Bama had an easy shot at the NC.

I'll also say this about UF's schedule in 2014 to back up my argument.

UF plays LSU and South Carolina both at home. UGA loses Murray. The 2 potentially toughest games for UF will be @ FSU (they WILL be loaded in 2014) and @ Bama if thats the way the schedule turns out.

If UF has Bama at home though, I love that team's chances of winning a NC.

I realize that. But the 2008 Alabama team was counting on too many freshmen and sophomores. We weren't without our own issues. The youth finally caught up to that team. So I still contend that the 2009, 2011, and 2012 Alabama teams would beat 2008 Florida.

Too early to say for certain.

Bama will probably just drop them at one point for Missouri or something after Saban complains.

The 2012 team should not be in this argument. Nowhere near the the other two teams.

Losing a great QB and two top OL. OL will not have a player with more than one yr experience

Percy Harvin wouldn't have made a difference against 2009 Alabama. He never produced what his potential allowed him too. I don't know why Urban Meyer didn't just let him go balls to the wall every single game. Maybe it's just me.

Remember who busted open the UF-LSU game in 08? It was Harvin.

Who busted open the NC game? Harvin.

Who killed FSU and ended that game in the 1st half before getting hurt? Harvin.

Who was the reason UF didn't get destroyed by Ole Miss and had a chance to win at the end? Harvin.

Rewatch UF games that season. Without Harvin, UF loses 3 games minimum.

Really?

One game as a measuring stick?

If 2009 Tennessee (7-6) gave Alabama all it could handle, why couldn't 2008 UF? If 2009 Auburn gave Alabama all it could hand before a 4th quarter collapse, why couldn't 2008 UF?
If 2011 UF gave Alabama all they could handle before a 4th quarter collapse, why couldn't 2008 UF? IF 2011 LSU could beat Alabama on their home turf, why couldn't 2008 UF?
If 2012 UGA gave Alabama all they could handle before a 4th quarter collapse, why couldn't 2008 UF? If 2012 TAMU could beat Alabama on their home turf, why couldn't 2008 UF?

Stupid fricking logic.

Defensively, you're correct.

Offensively, much much better

Happy now, LSU fans?

Can we stop wondering if you're going to bolt for the Big 12 now?

You know it's true

He was valuable no doubt. But he could've had much better stats. His explosiveness at any point is what had him worried. But I guess I'm forgetting the fact the God was their QB
