They can't run for long. If we play the end result will still be the same.

Make no mistake about it, the SEC allowed this to happen. It's a long shot but a 7-1 Bama gets into the Championship game over a 6-1 LSU team. Regardless of that, the other side is more plausible- if the cards fall right - Florida gets in over Tennessee because of this game not being played.

According to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, alligators can run up to 35 mph on land. Although these animals are frighteningly quick runners, they are only able achieve these speeds in short bursts and maintain it for only very short distances.

That statistic has been broken - these Florida Gators breaking the speed of sound, light, etc....

LSU has fallen so far from where they were in the early and mid 2000s, it's sad.

Not as far as Florida who scraped by a vandy team that got beat 38-7 by Georgia tech

seems LSU fans are excusing the first 4 games of the season as all on Les Miles....you are chest thumping and truly feel you are "really undefeated" because that was when Les was coaching. "We're different now"

so we should just forfeit the rest of the way because we fired our coach.

frick off that pussy u of forfeit thinking

I am in favor of Monday night, if there is no damage in Gainesville, but just don't have the power to make it happen. Call the SEC office, they will make the final decision, just like they did yesterday.

I just don't get the reasoning here at all. Gainsville is getting nada from this storm. It could be played Sunday or Monday

Then why is Florida refusing to play Sunday or Monday in Gainsville????????

The AD said that it would require pulling away police and EMS folks from them doing their jobs along the coastline.

Personally, I agree though, they should be willing to bend some and use a minimal police and ems staff OR ask to use additional resources from B.R./Louisiana Police or EMS.

Some alternatives? Please let us know what they are and keep in mind our AD has shot down the bs lies about the 19th. So it's cool Florida doesn't want to lose a home game but LSU says nah we don't want to lose a home game and we're the fricking bad guys. Gump fricking logic here.

1) The buyout of the Southern Miss game.

Oh, so you believe LSUs AD but not Florida's. How convenient of LSU fans.
