Florida simply ran away from playing LSU

LSU is a HOT team with a new coach with some reenergized MOJO. Florida could not afford a SEC loss. Foley and Florida ran away from playing LSU. LSU offered to play the game anywhere anytime. Foley, Florida and the SEC never asked LSU to move the South Alabama game. ESPN's McMurray lied in his article and the LSU Atheltic Director called it an outright lie.

While I agree with the thread title I did not know one victory made us a hot team... But I like it so I'll agree with that too!

Every game will be played at some point but not LSU - Florida because the Gators are running. Here is the list of games that will be played:

-Georgia vs. South Carolina: The game, in Columbia, S.C., was rescheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET Sunday. Gov. Nikki Haley had threatened to withhold law enforcement to work the game for its scheduled Saturday kickoff. She also said that fans were holding hotel rooms in Columbia that are needed by evacuees.

-Old Dominion vs. UMass: This game was originally scheduled for Saturday but was moved up to Friday because of Hurricane Matthew. It will still be played in Norfolk, Virginia.

-FAU vs. Charlotte: The game has been postponed, tentatively, for Sunday at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, Florida. Both schools will monitor the situation and reassess as the storm hits the coast.

-UCF vs. Tulane: This game has been postponed until Saturday, Nov. 5, and will be played in Orlando. It was originally scheduled for Friday. The team urged people to be careful via Twitter.

Win over Mizzou and LSU = hot team.
LSU has fallen so far from where they were in the early and mid 2000s, it's sad.

how does one game make a team "HOT."

In basketball if you make ONE shot you are not "HOT"

The only team in the SEC that I would consider hot is Tenn... the wins they have and the way they won...HOT means no matter what good things just seem to happen. That's been the case for Tenn this year.

Anyone, Les Miles included, could have stood on the sideline and got you a 3 TD victory over Mizzou by running the football.

No, I'm just not trying to spin a cancelled game into making my team look good.

UF offered you some alternatives and LSU said no just as much as UF said no. But somehow, UF is being made to be the bad guy FOR WANTING TO PLAY A HOME GAME AT HOME!

fricking crazy, right? The nerve of them!

You can play the game at U. Florida on Nov. 19th if you're not scared.

Florida made NO concessions, gave NO alternatives, just outright refused to play the game.

ESPN radio, for a change, is hammering them right now.

Guess they didn't want to run with the false narrative anymore.

Yes... you nailed it. LSU absolutely steamrolled a 2-2 Mizzo team that had beaten both Eastern Michigan and Delaware State. Yep... LSU is some kind of hot.

Good lord.

Let's play it Sunday then. Or Monday. Or Tuesday.
