You are one of the people who will be disappointed.

Wild to think that an AG from Florida thinks winning the ACC (even as an undefeated team) means more than winning the SEC.
It just means more.
It just means more.

The CFP is a licensed LLC, so they can't totally take a non-compliance stance. If the committee refuses to cooperate, they could subject themselves to a lawsuit brought directly by FSU for loss of revenue.
And alas, the ongoing feud between Disney and the State of Florida may have just taken a new direction.

If Milroe went down against Auburn, then UGA shuts bama out in the SEC championship game
Posted on 12/12/23 at 9:26 pm to Chip82
55th ranked SOS (FSU) versus top 5 SOS (Bama and Texas). FSU’s SOS was closer to some G5 schools than it was to Bama and Texas. Committee got it right. Florida AG will waste a bunch of momey and get some votes though.

Whats done is done but if Milroe had gone down at Auburn, and it was the reason yall got left out, people would die over it.
Well, a 2 loss Bama team didn’t make it last year so a 2 loss team without the starting qb wouldn’t have started an uproar.
After seeing the results last year I think they should have been in, they would have been more competitive than Mich and tcu….

All schools voted in favor of adding the injury criteria... the purpose of which was to ensure that there would be high quality games for television and public consumption ...FSU voted for this provision...now they want to sue because the committee followed the rules they helped write..what a joke...They will be laughed out of court, and probably be slapped with a rule 11, requiring them to pay the committee's attorney's fees defending this frivolous suit

Probably?
Lol
This sounds like a great bet.
What should the terms be that the Florida attorney General does not get slapped with a rule 11?

The Florida attorney General has no right to investigate an antitrust violation?

Good way for a sleazy politician to waste time and tax payer money. Like the state of Florida doesn’t have more pressing problems and priorities than this. Dummies keep forgetting that 12 teams get in next season. Anyway, I hope they get some kind of justice, like getting blasted by UGA at the state’s most prestigious bowl game in Miami.

It's the dummies and crooks talking about 12 teams next season. It will be 12 teams most of whom will be SEC and B10 members because the polls are crooked and political. With both the SEC and B10 having the best programs, both of these conferences expanding, and both conferences being chocked full of marquee games both conferences will have teams with the toughest schedules. This will insure the 12 team playoff will consist of what we currently have, an SEC vs B10 invitational.

Surly they will beat Georgia, if your faith in Florida State is real, have it.
That 500+ hasn't moved.
Perhaps Ron should just bet that budget money on FSU, going to be waisted either way.

Cheap political theater .
..this will never see the light of day in a court room. The committee followed the rules as unanimously agreed to by all member institutions: strength of schedule, and injury to key players, were part of the criteria they had to consider.... They did their job..... Liberty has a better suit than Florida State
The Mafia more or less all agree on their rules and they are still criminals....part of the crimes they commit are agreeing to those rules. Its an interesting argument. I don't think it goes anywhere but it ought to be discussed...it involves public institutions and billions of dollars...theyre is most likely some corruption. And if there ain't it won't hurt for the public to know that.
