Y'all act like the entire case is Leo Lewis. Seriously?

No....that's just your view on it.

Also, kid goes to store, identifies things he wants, says "I forgot my wallet can you hold these for me? My name is whatever". Hours later another party comes and says "your holding items for me. My name is whatever." That party pays for the items for the kid. Kid gets it free, store gets its money. This happens everywhere, not just oxford

absolutely. The problem is that this statement isn't what Leo told the NCAA investigators. His dumbass went too far into specifics and said things that are factually incorrect. He fricked up.

"Rebel Rags, accused of giving free t-shirts and other good, is filing a lawsuit for defamation of character again Leo Lewis & mother, Kobe Jones & mother, Lindsey Miller, and several others. Seems like holes were poked in their stories and nothing added up against Rebel Rags."

That's amazing, the only official documentation available has student athletes by numbers not names. Student privacy laws prevent the student athletes from ever being identified.
Now if the owner has decided to sue Leo Lewis, Kobe Jones and their mothers based on rumors and innuendo, he is opening himself to a helluva counter-suit.
I have seen this rumor of a lawsuit on several boards this afternoon. There is no record of any such lawsuit in any court data base in north Mississippi.
This is probably message board BS!

Today is Sunday.....

And did you actually search every court database on a Sunday in June because of college football? Step away from sports man. Go outside.

Hope the Black Bears/their fans keep filing law suits. Having to testify under oath, in a civil trial, is a lot different animal than anything done by the NCAA's. It is one thing to lie to the NCAA's, another to lie under oath in a district court. And any defense atty would attack like a shark in bloody waters.

Feel free, you think Chris Kiffin, Barney or the Owner of Rebel Rags have anything to hide? Especially since the Owner is the guy bringing the suit?

Leo stated that they took the security tags off the merchandise and let him walk out.

Where did he state that?

Well lets see.... They couldn't find shite from the Draft Night deal so they got pissy and decided to offer immunity to anyone willing to say anything. Their main case is based off of a kid with incredibly conflicting stories and absolutely no credible evidence to back up his claims.

And according to most of you retards, we're solidly fricked so frick them too.

I'm assuming in a room of some sort where he met with the NCAA investigators.

Could have been at Applebee's.....they didn't specify.

A company with the name of "Rebel Rags" is suing for defamation of character?

What character?

Good luck proving that the statements are false and that they caused special damages.

Proving the statements were false:
- They never had a gift card program
- They never had a theft deterrent tag system
- They have never had a lady employed by the name of Emily
Pretty darn straight forward and very easy to prove.

Caused special damages:
- Seriously, you own a store supplying Ole Miss apparel and based upon their testimony the Owner & Store got disaasociated.....once again easy to prove.
