Clearly the two cops were disgruntled LSU fans and still had 21-0 on their minds and tried to ruin 2 upstanding god fearing young mens lives due to their bitterness and the DA being a reasonable man and searching for true justice in this case saw right thru the 2 cops wicked ways and chose to drop the charges. I dont see why you can't understand this dude

Geno Smith was still on the team and didn't miss any games after 2 DUIs. Dillon Lee didn't miss any games after getting a DUI. Cam Robinson nor Hootie Jones will be suspended.

Talk about reaching. Do you not think it's at all possible that Cam had no idea it was stolen, and after being arrested he agreed to tell the cops where he got it? Particularly if he was informed that doing so would kill the felony charge?

How in the heck do you jump to that conclusion? If I buy a gun from you, and I'm later informed by law enforcement that the gun was was stolen, take a wild guess who I'm going to say stole the gun?

I'm assuming whoever sold Cam the gun wasn't stupid enough to give a Bill of Sale, and have it notarized, if the weapon was stolen.
Unless they don't have to be notarized in Alabama. Still, giving a BOS for a stolen weapon is borderline retarded.
ETA: The fact that it's been 3 weeks and nothing stating they have been cleared is also a reason I'm skeptical, particularly if he had a legal BOS. That should be open and shut. So, you could be right, but so could I.

"I Know who stole the gun" is quite a bit different from "I bought it from". The latter being what someone would generally say if they were under the assumption it was a legal purchase.

The cops weren't quoting him. Saying "he knows who stole the gun" avoids expressing a public theory of the crime.
