Like I said before, I understand why he did not want the change, and you're right, it is a tough position to be in. However, like it or not, LSU football is the engine of the university right now. Doing what's best for the football program will only help the university in the long run. I say this as someone who didn't want Miles fired, but going toe to toe with the major boosters and their enormous egos can't be good for him, or the university.

Especially since the tuition would have to go up to cover the shortfall from loss of athletic revenue.
