No, what would've happened is that NO team in any conference would've had players pull crap like that if that team had any chance of making it to their conference championship and possibly the playoff...even Missouri. If this would've happened last year, there's no way Mizz would risk losing a chance to make it to Atlanta because a few racist asshats were causing trouble on their campus.
