I tend to agree with you on this one. I really don't know what he meant and really don't care. This is also coming from an 18 year old who could very well took it how he wanted as well.

A Judge issues a sentence. You are taking small portions of the Bible and excluding then from others that paint a picture. It's the single most taken out of context part of the Bible. This is, in part, how we have become a PC people.

1 Cor 5:13 Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

When you start putting scriptures together, you get a clear picture.

With the flawed logic (that the Bible doesn't even teach) that we should not judge, why not allow your kids to join a gang? Invite a pedophile to live with you and sleep in your kids room.

After all Judge not. Who are you to judge!

No this is about you just wanting to bash freeze over something and refusing to accept the fact that the recruit was misquoted.

You are an OM fan and you have every right to defend Freeze. But it's getting to be a little hilarious how often he ends up putting his foot in his mouth and or doing selfish things in the name of the "team". And then he hides behind his faith (the most popular faith in the country, mind you; one shared by 99% of collegiate coaches across the country) as some reason people are out to get him.

"If you have facts about a violation..."
"Laremy was just defending his mother"
All the misinformation about the violations not occurring under his staff or not being major.
Burning Patterson's redshirt to try and get to a meaningless bowl.

The recruit never denies his quote. The recruit never said that he was misquoted. So you have to assume he was quoted perfectly.

Why does Hugh feel the need to bring up Christ, religion, or his faith while recruiting a player? Wouldn't he be better served to discuss his coaching philosophy, the academic support and curriculum, the S&C, nutrition and training program at OM?

There's a time and place for everything. I've just never understood why religion would play a part in recruiting a player?

He said that freeze never made that comparison. The article says he made that comparison.

That means he was misquoted. If you had any basic understanding of logic....you could figure this out.

Sorry to disrupt your faux religious and moral outrage.

So you're saying that he assaulted his step father for no reason?

frick the bowl game. The 15 extra practices for us that came with it would have been invaluable.

The recruit didn't pull the Jesus persecution out of thin air. Even if he was misquoted, Freeze shouldn't have used that example.

Out of context, you have no idea what he was using this as an example of.
