People need to get rid of the idea that Missouri isn't a decent team. Pinkel has done a good job there for a while now. The only reason they were 5-7 in 2012 was injuries, just like UF and UGA in 2013.

Agreed, but we're on tSECR and people are trolling the heck out of each other.

Its kind of like the East in NBA basketball. Extremely weak and as we are seeing now. Only one team worth a shite. That team happens to be our former B12 partna's
A&M will go 0-2 vs the East this year. 2-2 right now so I'm not sure how you can say the East sucks.

The reason Mizzou fans make fun of Georgia fans making excuses for last season is because we had a series of unfortunate events that led to our 5-7 2012 season. All we were told is that we didn't have SEC depth and weren't good enough for the SEC. When it happens to Georgia or Florida, all we hear is excuses and that next year you will smash us. It's funny.
The main difference to me from y'all's injury season in '12 to Florida's and Georgia's last year is that no one considered Mizzou a good win in 2012. Y'all are trying to act like beating Florida and Georgia were some huge program wins or something and using it as an excuse to say y'all will beat them again.

Y'all.

We are tired of beating a dead horse on this SOS thing. Stick around a few more years and you will get it.

I wish espn would continue to ignore Mizzou, tbh. This feels like the SI Cover curse. I'd rather be a little under the radar, we play better as underdogs.

But at least DGB being DGB made the espn writers learn a few of our other WR's names.

Fine by me if ESPN goes with them. I am tired of all the magazines picking Georgia. Who doesn't like being the underdawg?

Then Russ can take a big steamy dump on the rock M at Faurot after a generous helpin' of old man football.

Hail Richt, full of grace. Thy White Tee Martin and Gurleysaurus Rex comfort me.

Georgia fans act like their team was unbeatable when you were healthy last year. However, lets look at reality

Georgia was healthy for the Clemson game and lost. Ole Miss beat LSU by exactly the same margin Georgia did. Georgia was mostly healthy for the LSU game. The South Carolina game was closer than the final scored indicated. I believe South Carolina was stopped on a 4th and goal from the Georgia 1 yard line.

If you add all those things together, it is at least possible that Missouri could have beaten a healthy Georgia team last year

No, Gurley didn't play for half the game and our best receiver went down early.

Because transitive property works so well in football.

But we still won

You should deliver this message to your own fans. They are the people who act like it was not possible for Missouri to beat a healthy Georgia team

Nobody was saying that, but the chance of them beating a fully healthy team in Athens would be pretty low

True fact: Maty Mauk came in the 4th quarter against Georgia and outscored them two TDs to zero. However, that was frankly because our superior line play wore Georgia out and they had nothing left for the 4th quarter. Georgia needs to get their line play on the level of Mizzou's before they start talking trash.

But....but.... but... injuries are apart of the game.

If you have any doubt that Mizzou's line play in that game wasn't superior, then you sir are "fricking retarded".

Should have had more depth.

That's what Mizzou heard the season before when we had equally as many injuries.

Couldn't agree more. Great point... except we went 8-5 in our injury ravaged year, and Mizzou went 5-7 without a bowl game. Injuries suck, and as you should know as a Mizzou fan your team is much better without injuries.

Yes, thank you. Even when Mizzou was beaten down they played Georgia good, that was until the monster known as Jarvis Jones completely took over that game. Wasn't it Jones that actually ended up hurting Franklin?

Anyways, that is true on the records. Mizzou could have went easily 7-5 that year or even easily 4-8. We didn't quite fall like Florida did.

I didn't remember Franklin being hurt in 2012 against UGA. I just remembered an o-lineman going down in the 2nd and obviously Josey had his knee injury. Last year Jordan Jenkins was the player that hurt Franklin. Jones was playing for the Steelers.

Loosing an 90% of your starting offense including a heisman caliber running back along with another stud running back would significantly hurt any team.
