I see. There are ways to explain the bad seasons, but I'm sure any team ever could do the same.

@ USCe, @ Florida, @ TAMU @ UT - much harder road schedule than last season.

Last year they were @ Vandy, @ UK, @ UGA, @ OM.

Georgia coming off a bye is nice though.

True. We play pretty well at the Swamp(basing off that 4 point down to the minute loss in that horrid season) but, the South Carolina game is the big one. TAMU we have beat there 4 of the last 5 times and I feel like we have the team to do it again since I don't see how TAMU will be that good. UT will be a tough one though. So I see your point. It will be interesting.

We've had better seasons in the last 7 years than last year's season.

I have no read on the gators this year. They could be pretty good or entirely terrible. Should be a good game.

May be until after 2015 that UT wins the SEC though

Rambo, you're wasting your breath. WG thinks that because he is a Georgia fan he is somehow superior to Mizzou fans in all ways. I don't understand it either.

This is what he said about the hogs,

"open the season at Auburn in a game that could catch the Tigers off guard."

It wouldn't surprise me, but I think the schedule doesn't set up as well as last year and I don't think their defense will be as good as it was last year. The Auburn game skews the stats a lot, but that was a pretty decent unit last year by Missouri standards, certainly their best since 2010.

Our DL is going to be excellent and the secondary will be solid. The question is our LBs.

Easy now...missouri fans will be along shortly to say you're making excuses.

ETA: Not quick enough apparently!

I guess you should 8 all SEC caliber WRs on the roster instead of 4, to go along with 3 All American caliber tailbacks instead of just 2.

The reason Mizzou fans make fun of Georgia fans making excuses for last season is because we had a series of unfortunate events that led to our 5-7 2012 season. All we were told is that we didn't have SEC depth and weren't good enough for the SEC. When it happens to Georgia or Florida, all we hear is excuses and that next year you will smash us. It's funny.

To be fair, y'all won in a down east and then lost the ccg to Auburn with their first year hc

To be fair, the East wasn't down last year.

In 2010, USC won the east East with a 5-3 conference record and nine wins total. That season, the East went 18-30 in conference play. That's a down year.

For comparison, the East was 27-29 in conference play last season.

In 2012, the East was 28-28. In 2011, 23-27. 2009, 22-26, and then 26-22 in 2008.

The reason you and others say the East was down is because Mizzou and USC were the top teams. Nobody would be saying shite if Georgia and Florida were on top and Mizzu/USC had 12 combined wins.

WG, don't argue with this guy. They have a winning season and expect to win it every year. They are the little kid on the block trying to get noticed. It will be short lived and back under the rock they will scurry.
