Way too young of defense and OL. Fournette > Hill.

Plus, their three losses were @UGA(44-41, L), @OM(27-24, L...damn, I've missed saying that :( ), and @Bama(38-17, L). I'm drawing blanks on the UGA game, but the OM game was a horrendous coaching job by Les

They lost their MLB Spaight, starting CB Washington and starting safety Turner. Coupled with the loss of Philon and Flowers, their defense is due for regression. Not saying they will be terrible, but they definitely won't be as tough.

It was exactly what the score makes it look like.

Not really. Zach wanted to play superman that game with his 3 INTs instead of taking check downs.

I am aware of Hawkins and Alexander's talent. Alexander is a road grading stud.

Do you think Hawkins and Pocic will have issues transitioning? Where is Dodd from?

Which one of the "names to watch" do you expect to pick up the slack at right guard?

Do they seem confident with him moving out to RT? We have a guy like this, but I hate the moving around. I don't like versatile(except when a tackle or guard can play both, left and right) on the OL.

Until Leonard Fournette runs for 1500 yards like Hill in 2013, I think it's a bit forward to say he is a better player than Jeremy Hill, especially considering Hill's impressive rookie season in Cincinnati.

1124 rushing yards, 5.1 YPC, 9 TD, 215 receiving yards

Alexander, Pocic, Hawkins, Austin will probably be our main contributors off the top of my head.

LSU cleaned house on OL this class too. Teuhemal, Chidi Valentine-Okeke, Weathersby will all play early. Took 5 OL overall in 2015.

Is that not the HC's job to change that? Bo threw three picks int the first half of the Boise game...Freeze adjusted and built Bo's confidence back up.

Not disagreeing with you, Zach made some bad throws...although I thought two of the INTs were just damn good plays from our DB's.

Hawkins and Pocic should be fine. A year later, I am absolutely thrilled with the upgrade Jeff Grimes has provided from Greg Studrawa.

Don't know much about Dodd. Someone else may have to fill you in on him, I just know he's projected as THE guy at that position.

To be honest, it could be any of them and I'd feel perfectly fine. Malone, Brumfield, and Clapp were getting praised heaped on them all last year and Teuhema is an absolute stud. It's criminal that he didn't get 5*, though I honestly doubt he starts as a true frosh.

Either way, if we need to convert a 3rd and 3, we won't run the ball to the right side.

I realize Barrett Jones is one of tGOATs, but he did the following while in Tuscaloosa:
2009 - 14 starts at RG (freshman all-American)
2011 - 13 starts at LT (1st team all-SEC; unanimous 1st team all-American; Outland Trophy winner)
2012 - 14 starts at C (1st team all-SEC; unanimous 1st team all-American; Rimington Trophy winner)

By design, the first read on any given passing play in our offense is the deep route. When you have Landry and ODB, and with some of the catches they made that year, Zach just assumed they would go up and get it against an injury-riddled team.

You can't blame the HC for his QB not making the proper read. See: 2014 LSU v. Ole Miss

Right, but how many times did he make assumptions that resulted in detrimental effects for the Tigers? Mett or Les has to realize that their original gameplan may not work at some point, right? At some point, Les goes to Zach and says "stop throwing it deep and over the middle," right?

Wrong.

Les isn't the king of halftime adjustments
