They're not televising the spring game but will televise part of the final rolling of the trees.

This can't be true, because ESPN is in on this grand media conspiracy against Auburn. Why would they televise something at AU not related to paying players or changing grades?

Good for the Aubies. I know a lot of people think "it's just a tree", " throwing toilet paper at trees is stupid", etc but it's a tradition so let them have it. I mean if we go through every tradition at each of our schools, I'm sure there would be some ridicule too. The whole thing of some nut case from a rival school "killing" the tradition because he couldn't handle the fact that his team lost, is much more ridiculous than toilet papering a tree. Traditions are what make college football so much more interesting than the pro game, visiting a rival's campus & seeing some of their traditions has always been one of the things I love about road games. I'll probably watch it for the sake of SEC nostalgia

"Um...yeah...got some bad news. ESPN3 is going to dump it to cover a UA softball game...so...yeah...that would be great."
