Yeah, why not go back to 2005? That last stat would be more even...

probably has everything to do with Saban

Well, he did arrive at Alabama in 2007, but he first coached in the SEC in 2000. To be on the safe side, I think we should compare both teams records against top 10 teams from 2000 till now. It's the only way to be certain.

Because 2007 is the first year Saban was at Bama.

What? Does somebody think Alabama has an easy schedule and LSU a hard one? This is some really new stuff being discussed here.

While the inequity in scheduling has been known by the member programs and the fans of the SEC, it is new to the rest of the nation.

How can the SEC complain about teams with inferior SOS making the BCS championship when SEC fosters and allows teams with inferior SEC SOS to win their divisional titles?

The hypocrisy of the SEC is coming to light!

The SEC can make this go away by doing the right thing. It's that simple.

I would feel guilty if I were a Bama fan with the Tennessee Kentucky crap.

The thing with LSU's bye weeks this year is the SEC office TURNED DOWN LSU request for a bye the week before the bama game.

Not if you have a dynasty myth to protect.

Bama fans are very proud for their SEC West title in 2012, even though the Aggies beat them.

Florida Gators to the rescue. A program Bama conveniently misses most of the time thanks to the permanent opponent rule.

Also, the bridge schedule to the rescue--no Georgia to deal with either--welcome Missouri.

Long live the permanent opponent rule!

I don't think you got your facts correct on that one.

LSU does get bye weeks before both Bama and TAM in 2013.

One little problem with your numbers.

UT has only finished in top three of the east twice in those six years. They currently aren't one of the big six.

SC as of now has replaced UT as one of the top three from the east.

Please adjust your numbers accordingly.
