So if y'all go 9-3 and only lose to UGA/Bama/SC, will that be enough to get Dooley off of the hot seat?
Probably in the eyes of most fans, but if Rogers, Hunter, and Bray leave after the season is over, but he may well just be delaying his firing a year.

If Dooley is fired, it will be at season's end. I don't see Hart firing before then, unless something really terrible happens (like another losing season or losing to Kentucky again).

Yeah unless we lose to Georgia State and/or Akron and/or Troy I think Dools will get the whole season.

Mama Dooley disagree with this

He will be fired at the end of the season if he does not win at least 8 games.

And this prediction is officially dead after UT beats UF.

North Carolina State will win 10.
Wolfpack have a senior quarterback, one of the most experienced offensive lines in the nation and the best defensive back in the game in David Amerson.

NC state will be crushed by the vols.

Will you be in the dome for the game. I'll wager you an arsekicking

I am new here, but I will stop posting here forever if the Volunteers do not win by at least 10 points against your wolfpack.

I think that Tennessee could win 8 games this year, but I think if Dooley loses to NCSU or Florida the negative buzz around Knoxville will distract the team and ruin the season before it really even gets started.
Feasibly:
W - 08/31/12 vs. North Carolina State Georgia Dome (Atlanta, GA)
W - vs. Georgia State Knoxville, Tenn.
L - vs. Florida * Knoxville, Tenn.
W - vs. Akron Knoxville, Tenn.
L - at Georgia * Athens, Ga.
W - at Mississippi State * Starkville, Miss.
L - vs. Alabama * Knoxville, Tenn.
L - at South Carolina * Columbia, S.C.
W - vs. Troy Knoxville, Tenn.
W - vs. Missouri * Knoxville, Tenn.
W - at Vanderbilt * Nashville, Tenn.
W - vs. Kentucky * Knoxville, Tenn.
What I THINK will happen is Dooley loses to Florida and the rumblings start, resulting in too many distractions and stuff off the field. The team will probably give up by the Bama game. Finish 6-6 or 7-5.
I think no matter what UT is going to lose to UGA, Bama, and SCar.
Florida is a maybe, but the team is going to have to be healthy and play at an elite level.
NCSt is another game that can go either way, but I think UT can spread the ball around enough on offense and pull away in the 4th.
Mississippi State is going to be rough for UT if there is controversy at play during the season. Coming off the bye week, I think UT will escape Starkville with a W.
Mizzou and Vandy are tough to call. I can see UT hitting their stride late in the season and finishing strong, or splitting these games. I don't think that they lose both.
GSU, Akron, Troy, and UK are obviously Ws.

Does any coach in the SEC have less support from his fan base than Dooley

that is possible, but it is not likely at all.

"SC fans were patient because their program is not exactly on the same level as UT."
Not correct. USC fans were patient because we could see the improvement in the program even though it wasn't immediately translating to wins on the field. Recruiting, facilities, conditioning, academic retention, character and attitude were all clearly improving under Spurrier. UTe has made some progress under Dooley, but not enough. With SOS, you always knew he had a plan and had things under control. With Dooley, no much.

By reading your message boards, I get the idea that south carolina fans were ready to run SS out of town 2 years ago.
