I have no excuses for the way the team played against Clemson, but any rational fan will admit LSU's defense played well enough to win the game. LSU held Clemson to 25 points, an offense that averaged 41 points per game last year, and that includes the outlier of 25 points against LSU.

Our offense has been so inept over the past few seasons it's almost laughable. They have shown flashes, but overall have lost LSU more games then they've won. Ironically, LSU's defense let them down against Alabama last year and the offense essentially carried the team.

I see no reason why Georgia can't hold Clemson's offense to less than 30 pts and no reason why they couldnt score more than 30. I think it will be a good game, but think UGA wins.

ETA: Interestingly enough Clemson's lowest point totals were against SEC teams: Auburn 26, USCe 27, and LSU 25.

If I'm a Georgia fan, then I'm glad those no-football-knowing idiots picked Clemson.

What's your major? Tough being in college and trying to study and watch games. I was through with that a LOOOOONG time ago. Shoot. I have a son that is done with it now...and a daughter!

My daughter was in the Honors Program at Georgia. VERY smart! (Took after her mother, obviously) We couldn't get her to go to a Georgia football game! She started dating a guy, and he talked her into going in her Junior year. She was hooked, after that! Fall is a GREAT time of year!

I have an average at best work ethic. I'm an Honors Computer Science major. While I'm in college, I'll hopefully find direction and improve my social tendencies.

Clemson will win. Book it. If there is anyone or anything that historically chokes more than Clemson in an early season big game, it's Mark Richt and Aaron Murray. The real Death Valley is going to be "rockin" tonight.

You're social tendencies are fine. I respect your opinion on this board. (Even though you don't like Georgia, very much )

It's not unusual for college age kids to still not know exactly what they want to do or what their next move in life will be. It will come, though. As I said, my daughter was in georgia's Honors program with a double major. (Modern English Literature and Forensic Anthropology...yep, strange pairing) She went to York, England and got her Masters degree in Modern Eng. Lit. Guess what? She can't find a job. Very frustrating for her. Just be patient.
If you are in an Honor's program you have something going for you. You'll be fine. Right now it is just a very tough job market. Just stay away from Modern Eng. Lit. You can do NOTHING with that!

Would that be because the Ga./Florida game was not on the National stage? You're right. The Florida portion of that game just wasn't news worthy enough. Of course, we won our bowl game. that would have been on the National stage. Wow. I see a trend developing here. When was the last time Florida won on the national stage?

How is anyone supposed to take you seriously when you don't even know on what day the game is played.

I guess beating the #2 ranked Gators wasn't on the national stage? And Clemson is 0-3 at home as the underdog with Dabo so you would lose your money.
