Did he say it was the same? No, he said the things being said about this game are similar.

-big, early test for UGA on the road
-home crowd at night that will be jacked
-unique meeting (missou new to SEC, clemson an old but put on hold rivalry)
-UGA facing a dangerous offense

etc. And he's right. Nobody is saying clemson is on the same level football wise as missouri.

If I recall correctly y'all were predicted to get the W, but this thread is about the opposite

Good thing football games aren't 3 quarters then huh? We ended up winning by 3 touchdowns

I did some googling and found the 2012 UGA/Mizzou pregame prediction thread from the SECR, and one of the first comments was from you:

Dawgs need to chill on this Gurley hype...it was Buffalo.

I can't think of a good reason to pick Georgia in this game.

UGA has Gurley and Marshall. Clemson doesn't. Works for me.

So you use an example of a game where experts predicted mizzou to give UGA hell but fall just short to the talent of UGA...when in fact, UGA went into mizzou, mizzou gave them hell but fell just short to the talent of UGA

Aka the predictions were right

So should we to believe the predictions for this year are correct?

ESPN doesn't pick anyone. People do. I have heard people on espn pick georgia today. And picking Clemson is not insane at all. You need to sit down.

After watching Boyd get hit in the mouth for 4 quarters and still be able the lead a 4th quarter comeback, I can see why people are picking Clemson.

I'd be surprised if Georgia's defense was even close to LSU's in the Chick-fil-A bowl, but Georgia could get by with a worse defense because Clemson lost their receiver that came up huge versus LSU. Additionally, Boyd has to be on his game and stay fresh. If there's too much penetration in the backfield, he could get nicked or worse.

IDGAS what you do or don't believe, if you'll pay attention, I was just reiterating that the other UGA fan said that the buzz around that game and this game are similar. You can do with that info what you wish.

And LSU's offense in the bowl isn't half as good as the one Clemson will face in 2 days.

For thinking Clemson is THAT good. Why couldnt yall have just beat them last year? They wouldnt be top 10. They wouldnt be favored. We wouldnt have to hear about Boyd beating an LSU defense.

I blame all of this on you guys!

To be fair, Clemson had it tougher in that game; Clemson didn't make LSU earn 2 of their touchdowns. LSU made Clemson earn all their points. LSU only had 99 yards rushing, and that includes Hill's 2 TD runs for 74 yards. Take away those two spotted touchdowns and LSU only has about 150 total yards and about 25 rushing yards on the night. Clemson dominated. LSU's defense kept the score respectable.
